The Magnificent Rectorate Building of IAIN Lhokseumawe Campus

Today the weather is very nice and sunny which makes me want to visit a place that has a very beautiful and magnificent building, located on the IAIN Lhokseumawe Buket Rata Aceh Campus, Indonesia.

This is the main building of the IAIN campus which was built right on the front of the IAIN campus. This building was built in the form of a Palace with three big green domes on top, this magnificent building was built with three floors. from the front we can see that there are three domes that are neatly arranged on top of the building as the roof of this building.

This dome is painted green with gold carvings around it, the gold color on the dome is depicted in the form of a typical Aceh flower or what we usually call Jeumpa flowers. The front gate of this building is made very large in the form of a giant gate typical of Middle Eastern buildings.

At the top of this beautiful gate is carved in the typical style of a magnificent building in the Middle East with the shape of a small star and a hexagonal star if we take a closer look. To go up to this building in front of him made a very large and high stairs.

From ground level to enter this building, you have to climb about 20 steps. This giant gate is made with three sides, namely front, left and right. From the front side, stairs are made to go up, while from the right and left sides it is made like an uphill road for the chancellor's or lecturer's car on this campus.

On the right and left of this uphill road, long concrete is made which also functions as flower pots, this concrete also functions as a fence. Lots of beautiful decorative flowers are planted in this flower vase so that it looks beautiful when viewed from a distance.

Beside this gate I saw two large windows with clear and clean blue glass, these windows were made in two parts, one below and one above with a shape resembling a dome, beside the window on the upper side two concrete pillars were made as a frame. from this window.

When viewed from the front of the building it seems small, now I want to show this building from the side. This is really a very large building and is made to extend backwards.

From here, we can see that the first floor of this building is made like a basement covered with giant walls from the outside. If we enter from the front gate, we will immediately enter the second floor of this building.

From the front side we can see how beautiful this building is, from here I can see 12 windows, 4 of which are large and long while the other 8 are small, so they don't look too plain these windows are made with small checkered motifs , it is really a very beautiful clear blue window.

What I like about this is the design of the big window which is very beautifully made and long upwards, the wall at the bottom of the window is painted dark blue while all the other walls are painted white.

On the side of this building, it is made in the form of a curved box, from here its beauty can be seen more clearly. At the entrance, this side is made like a large box pillar that extends upwards. which is smaller than the main dome in the front.

The whole building is painted in white and dark blue with a hint of green and gold accents on the dome which makes the view of this building really perfect. When we look at it from the side to the back, we can see that this building is made very long with beautifully made box pillars all the way to the back. These pillars are really very strong and made to support the whole of this building.

Now the function of this building is not just the main building of the IAIN Lhokseumawe campus, many newly married couples also make this beautiful building the background for their pre-wedding photos. Even though this is a private campus building, it is now in
open for public.

The IAIN Lhokseumawe campus was founded in 1969, initially this campus did not have the large and magnificent buildings it is today, these buildings were just built around 2010 to 2021, now all building construction on this campus is almost complete.

From various directions this campus looks very beautiful because it was built on a high hill. Now the location of this campus has become a tourist spot for young people who live around Lhokseumawe. In addition to the beautiful natural scenery, here the campus buildings are also built very magnificently.

When I have free time, I often go here with my friends to enjoy the various beautiful views available on this campus.
