Unique Little Mushrooms

Hi fellow mushroom lovers, welcome again to #FungiFriday organized by @ewkaw.

I was very happy, the rain fell again very heavily this week after almost 1 month of no rain at all. Today I was so excited to look for mushrooms in the hope that I would find some beautiful mushrooms to share with all my friends.

I had only been in the small forest behind the house for a short time, now I immediately found a beautiful mushroom growing in the damp fibers of a fallen coconut tree trunk, this mushroom grew alone and was very small.

The petals of this mushroom look very conical which makes it look even more beautiful. However, unfortunately this mushroom cannot be consumed because it is poisonous, but seeing this mushroom from various angles it looks even more beautiful which makes me amazed.

Then, the second mushroom that I found today is a purple mushroom that is shaped like a flower that grows on the trunk of a living areca nut tree. Unfortunately, the petals of this mushroom are slightly damaged on one side due to being eaten by insects.

And the most beautiful part of this mushroom is the bottom, the bottom of this mushroom looks like a honeycomb but the pores look smaller.

This is the first time I have entered this forest that I found mushrooms growing on living trees, plus these mushrooms grow very high on the ground. But unfortunately this mushroom cannot be consumed by humans because it is poisonous.

Wild mushrooms in the forest always look exotic and always make me entertained when I find them, those are the 2 types of mushrooms that I found today, thank you friends who stopped by my post, see you on the next #FungiFriday.
