Taipei Skyscraper

This is my submission for the Deranged Photography Contest for the theme Buildings, hosted by @derangedvisions.

The Taipei 101 skyscraper is the tallest building in Taipei and is also one of the tallest building in the world. Like many other tall city landmarks, there is an observatory at the top of the building which you can pay to go up to. A hack that most local guides would recommend is to go the restaurant on the second highest floor and get a meal that costs the price of the ticket. That way you'll get to enjoy the view and have a nice meal. A little known fact is that there is a Starbucks on the 35 floor on the building. It's not even halfway up the building, you can get still get a pretty nice view.

I did not go up to the top of the building on this occasion where I was there. However, I passed by the building under this bridge during dusk and I thought the building looked great even from below. And I took a little time to take this photo before I scooted off to wherever I was going.
