[ENG/ITA] Serfdom & Sorcery: Time to Milk some Cows!

it's good to be the King!

Beneath the heavy, shining armor of a Knight may sometimes actually hide a breeder, more interested in buying and milking his beloved cows than in the violence of war and of hunting the monsters that infest the lands of Serfdom & Sorcery.

After several days spent fighting (which is currently the only source of experience you can use to increase your level), I was finally able to reach level 20, as well as rack up 50,000 DBLN: this means that I was eventually able to purchase my breeder's license !buybestiary.

Through this purchase I unlocked the possibility of acquiring two different animals:

  • some cows !buycows
  • a wolf !buywolf

Due to the quite high cost of the wolf (200,000 DBLN), I started by sticking to the cows (7,500 DBLN each), which can be milked every 6 hours !milkcow to get 200 DBLN.

The only flaw is that the cows can get sick or be milked by a Pillager, thus forcing us to heal them... but I mean, who said life in the Middle Ages was easy? Therefore, we need to roll up our sleeves and work hard, because the road to rise up through the social ladder is long, tortuous and fraught with dangers and surprises!

Meanwhile, I keep on getting very good profits from this game: due to the purchases I made in these days I was able to sell a good amount of DBLNs, bringing my total gains to over 10 Hive.

So far, I like my ratio between amounts invested and profits withdrawn, since it allows me to grow at a decent pace within the game: then, according to how things will evolve in the future, I will evaluate whether or not to change this percentage (90-10 approx.), perhaps increasing what I set aside, especially considering that I will soon need to start saving for quite large purchases... who knows, maybe one day I will aim to buy a whole castle !buycastle 🏰

E' bello essere il Re!

Sotto la pesante e lucente armatura da Cavaliere può talvolta nascondersi in realtà un allevatore, interessato più all'acquisto e mungitura delle sue amate mucche che alle violenze della guerra e della caccia ai mostri che infestano le terre di Serfdom & Sorcery.

Dopo diversi giorni di combattimenti (che attualmente costituiscono l'unica fonte di esperienza con cui aumentare il proprio livello), sono infatti riuscito a raggiungere il livello 20, nonchè ad accumulare 50.000 DBLN: ciò significa che ho finalmente potuto acquistare la mia licenza da allevatore !buybestiary.

Grazie a questo acquisto ho sbloccato la possibilità di ottenere due diversi animali:

  • delle mucche !buycow
  • un lupo !buywolf

Dato il costo parecchio elevato del lupo (200.000 DBLN), per iniziare mi sono quindi concentrato sulle mucche (7.500 DBLN l'una), che possono essere munte ogni 6 ore !milkcow per ottenere 200 DBLN.

L'unica pecca è che le mucche possono ammalarsi o venire munte da un Razziatore, costringendoci così a doverle curare... ma chi ha detto che la vita nel Medioevo fosse facile? Bisogna quindi rimboccarsi le maniche e darsi da fare, perchè la strada per elevarsi attraverso i ranghi della scala sociale è lunga, tortuosa ed irta di pericoli ed imprevisti!

Continuano intanto a mantenersi molto buoni i profitti che riesco ad ottenere grazie a questo gioco: gli acquisti che ho fatto in questi giorni mi hanno infatti portato a vendere un buon quantitativo di DBLN, portandomi ad un guadagno complessivo che ha così sorpassato i 10 Hive.

Per ora trovo soddisfacente mantenere invariato il mio rapporto tra somme investite e profitti prelevati, dato che mi consente di crescere ad un discreto ritmo all'interno del gioco: a seconda poi di come si evolveranno in futuro le cose valuterò se modificare o meno questa percentuale (90-10 circa), magari incrementando ciò che metto da parte, anche nell'ottica di cominciare a risparmiare per acquisti parecchio corposi... chissà, magari un giorno punterò ad acquistare un intero castello !buycastle 🏰

Questo però ha il vantaggio di essere molto comodo, perché si gioca interamente tramite Discord, per cui è un po' come aprire ogni tanto whatsapp/telegram per mandare qualche messaggio :)

Cazzate a parte, sto muovendo i primi passi, ho mandato i comandi !fish e !attack, non ho ben capito cosa devo fare per cercare di crescere, ma forse devo semplicemente giocare ogni tanto, ad esempio !fish si può fare ogni ora...

Ecco qua, intanto la consulenza, giustamente, si paga...

Casomai ti dovrei pagare io per aver letto il post ed avermi lasciato un commento, visto quanto mi fa piacere! :)

Per far risalire i tuoi HP puoi:

  • recarti dallo sciamano ogni 24 ore !visit_shaman per vedere ripristinata tutta la tua salute (300 HP)
  • utilizzare una pozione !heal small | medium | large | huge, che dovrà però prima essere acquistata !buy_potion small | medium | large | huge
  • chiedere di essere curato ad un giocatore che abbia scelto il lavoro healer, pagando il relativo costo

Tra qualche giorno pubblicherò un post in cui spiego un po' come iniziare a giocare, però, riassumendo molto:

  • con i comandi !fish !hunt !harvest o !hammer ottieni DBLN e puoi utilizzarli sin dall'inizio (alcuni dipendono dalla classe che hai scelto)
  • se compri un piccone !buypickaxe puoi anche utilizzare il comando !mine, sempre per ottenere DBLN
  • se uccidi mostri nemici tramite il comando !attack ottieni DBLN ed esperienza (uccidere mostri è infatti attualmente l'unica attività che dà esperienza): più sali di livello, più aumentano i guadagni, ma aumenta anche la forza delle creature nemiche ed il numero di pozioni necessarie per sconfiggerli.

Eccetto il comando !attack, tutti gli altri hanno un tempo di ricarica più o meno lungo, che dipende anche dalla classe scelta (quella Nature, ad esempio, ne riduce alcuni).

Poi nel post aggiungerò anche altre dettagli, ma questo è più o meno ciò che si può fare all'inizio :)

Non ti preoccupare, lo sciamano ti può sempre resuscitare :)

Per depositare DBLN comprati su un DEX su Hive devi andare nel canale deposit-withdraw ed inviare il comando !deposit.

Dopo di che il bot ti risponderà dicendoti di inviare i DBLN all'account @masterrpgbot indicando nel campo "memo" un codice che ti comunicherà il bot stesso.

Fatta la procedura i DBLN arrivano in pochi secondi!

L'unica cosa è che ho letto che in questi giorni ci sono alcuni problemi con Hive, per cui sconsigliavano di fare depositi e prelievi... non so se il problema ormai sia rientrato, ma nel dubbio forse ti conviene aspettare di poter andare dallo sciamano, che così risparmi anche ahahha
