Unbound: Getting My First Withdrawals

It's been two weeks since the [first post](https://ecency. com/hive-146620/@arc7icwolf/eng-ita-lend-and-rent) where I introduced Unbound, a gaming NFTs rental and lending platform I discovered also thanks to @acidyo (sorry for the second tag, but at this point I thought you might also be interested to know whether or not the platform is actually "paying"): after moving my whole Gods Unchained collection into the site, I waited until the next two Mondays (or, rather, Tuesday, to be exact, in the case of my time zone, i.e. GMT +1), in order to find out what my earnings would amount to and whether I would be able to withdraw them with no surprises.

I chose to wait for this timeframe so as to have as a reference a period of time in which my cards had been available on the platform for the duration of a whole week, allowing me to evaluate the maximum earnings that could be generated by my collection.

At the time of writing this post, two payments have been credited on my profile (one referring to a full week and the other to only a portion). Within approximately 24 hours I should also receive the third payment, which, unless there are major surprises, is supposed to be of a very similar amount to the second.

More specifically, I have currently accumulated and withdrawn from the platform 0.000503 WETH, as can be verified from the "lending rewards" page in my account:



This sum total consists, as anticipated, of two payments:

  1. 0.000183 WETH
  2. 0.000320 WETH

The second, of course, is the one referring to the period during which my cards were available to the site for a whole week.

After each credit I then proceeded to withdraw the amounts received, which were immediately sent to my wallet on Polygon.

So far my experience with the platform is, therefore, entirely positive: at current value the amount received in the second week amounts to $0.58, which equals to a yearly ROI of about 35% of the value of my collection... honestly it looks like even too much to be sustainable and, in fact, based on the statements made by the team members, who are talking about an estimated APR of around 5-7%, I guess this value will go down over time.

In any case, in the meantime I have started accumulating a small amount by simply using NFTs that would otherwise have remained completely unused in my account who knows how much longer.

In addition, the site right now allows people to rent Gods Unchained's assets for free, so if I felt like starting to play again, I could even do so using better cards than I'd normally have in my possession...two birds with one stone!

Now all I have to do is to see how and if the earnings change in the coming weeks, as well as find a way to put the WETH I earn to good use: I could buy more Gods Unchained cards with it, so as to take advantage of their compounding effect, or use them on some DeFi platforms, not least since I've always liked Polygon and wouldn't mind building a small stake on this blockchain.

Sono passate due settimane dal primo post in cui introducevo Unbound, una piattaforma di noleggio e prestito di NFTs da gaming scoperta grazie ad @acidyo (perdona il secondo tag, ma a questo punto ho pensato che potesse interessarti anche sapere se effettivamente la piattaforma è "pagante" o meno): dopo aver trasferito al sito la mia intera collezione di carte su Gods Unchained ho atteso i successivi due lunedì (o, meglio, martedì, nel caso del mio fuso orario, ossia GMT +1), così da scoprire a quanto sarebbero ammontati i miei guadagni e se fossi stato in grado di prelevarli senza sorprese.

Ho scelto di attendere questo lasso di tempo in modo da avere come riferimento un periodo di tempo in cui le mie carte fossero state a disposizione della piattaforma per tutta la durata di una settimana, così da poter valutare il massimo guadagno generabile dalla mia collezione.

Nel momento in cui scrivo questo post sul mio profilo sono stati perciò accreditati due pagamenti (di cui uno riferito ad una settimana intera e l'altro solo ad una parte). Nel giro di circa 24 ore dovrebbe arrivarmi anche il terzo pagamento che, salvo sorprese, dovrebbe essere di ammontare molto simile al secondo.

In particolare, al momento ho accumulato e prelevato dalla piattaforma 0.000503 WETH, come verificabile dalla pagina "lending rewards" del mio account:



Questo totale è costituito, come anticipato, da due pagamenti:

  1. 0.000183 WETH
  2. 0.000320 WETH

Il secondo, naturalmente, è quello riferito al periodo in cui le mie carte sono state a disposizione del sito per tutta una settimana.

In seguito ad ogni accredito ho provveduto poi a prelevare le somme ricevute, che sono state immediatamente inviate al mio wallet su Polygon.

Per ora la mia esperienza con la piattaforma è, perciò, completamente positiva: al valore attuale la somma ricevuta nella seconda settimana ammonta, tra l'altro, a 0.58$, che corrispondono ad un rendimento annuale pari a circa il 35% del valore della mia collezione... onestamente fin troppo altro come valore per essere sostenibile e, infatti, sulla base delle affermazioni fatte dai membri del team, che parlano di un APR stimato intorno al 5-7%, immagino che questo valore nel tempo si abbasserà.

In ogni caso, intanto ho iniziato ad accumulare una piccola somma usando semplicemente degli NFTs che, altrimenti, sarebbero rimasti completamente inutilizzati nel mio account per chissà quanto tempo ancora.

Il sito in questo momento consente, inoltre, di noleggiare gli assets di Gods Unchained gratuitamente, per cui se avessi voglia di ricominciare a giocare, potrei addirittura farlo con carte migliori di quelle che normalmente sarebbero in mio possesso... due piccioni con una fava!

Ora non mi resta che vedere come e se cambieranno i guadagni nelle prossime settimane, nonchè trovare un modo per far fruttare i WETH che ottengo: potrei comprarci altre carte di Gods Unchained, in modo da sfruttarne l'effetto compounding, oppure utilizzarli su qualche piattaforma della DeFi, anche visto che ho sempre apprezzato Polygon e non mi dispiacerebbe costruirmi una piccola posizione su questa blockchain.
