A Chaos Legion Death army can only work with Silent Sha-Vi, at least in Bronze and Silver. This card is one of my favorites for my stealth strategies so let's look into this.

Silent Sha-Vi

Overview

First about the card. On level 1 it has already a nice combo of 5 Health, 2 Melee damage, 3 Speed and Stealth. Already on level 3 he received one more damage, what is extremely useful. On Level 6 we add Cripple, on level 9 an additional melee damage and on level 10 it even gets Piercing. I'm now in the Silver league and can only dream of playing a card with 4 damage + piercing + stealth one day. The back line of any enemy must fear this combo.

Let's talk about Synergies: I will be honest, when I see a magic team in front of me then the combination of Thaddius Brood with a tank like Bone Golem or Cursed Windeku + a stealth team like : Silent Sha-Vi, Undead Badger and Uraeus is the first thing that pops in my mind. In the last weeks I fought mostly in Silver and with Thaddius Brood on level 2, this whole combo is extremely deadly as both Silent Sha-Vi and Uraeus receive +1 melee damage.

I think the only ruleset, where this card gets a bonus is in Unprotected, so it does not have to deal with shields.
On the other hand this card is looses it's edge in Back To Basics and Fog of War matches. Be cautious there!

Now lets check out a fight.
Ruleset:

  • 23 Mana
  • All Splinters allowed
  • Stampede and Melee Mayhem rulesets

I saw that my enemy favors magic team, and those usually attack the tank. On the other hand they also use a strong tank, so it is easier to attack the back line of these teams.
My strategy was to negate the magic damage as good as possible (with Bone Golem + Marrow's Ghost) to win me some time, while I use my stealth attacks.
The double slow I received from my enemy caused, that I could barely kill Ice Pixie. After this hurdle was overcome I was moving steadily forward. In the meantime there was a heavy battle in the frontline. Even my two supporting 1 mana cards did a great job in this fight. Thanks Cursed Slimeball and Carrion Shade.

I think Bone Golem is often left out of strategies, though it can be extremely useful against magic users. A tip: often a meat-shield is needed to pick up the first hits - Carrion Shade is a good starting point.

Your bone golem lasted longer than his baakjira, good line up against a powerful opponent.

Thank you very much!
I just checked, and I defeated 2 legendary cards with only two rare, and some common cards. For me this is the fun part of Splinterlands :)
