Shadow Hunters #310: Galloping to Sunset

Longer Days

The days are starting to get longer... This time, the sun was just about to set when we came out from the Children's Library earlier this month. The kids were already walking ahead of me and I decided to take my time to take some pictures on our way to the parking area.

"Mommy, you've taken photos of that many, many times already!" Little Miss commented.

She was right. I already did, but I already forgot where I saved the photos. And besides, the sun was hitting the spot nicely and giving beautiful shadows, so why not just take some more pictures, right?

Along the hallways of the Abu Dhabi Cultural Center, facing west, there are these big horse paintings. I remember I took photo of the details of the artist and the paintings, but yeah, those were in the older photos. Let's just focus on the shadows for now, eh?

Right ahead of this passage is the big square of the Qasr Al Hosn where many cultural activities also happend every now and then, the last one being the Al Hosn Festival last January.

The shadows here are also nice, including the reflection from the stainless steel back of the painting. For a moment I was torn if I were to make this a Reflection Hunters post. LOL.

Another Painting

There are two horse painting on display on this wing. I really hope I could give more information about the painting. Maybe I can check when we go back there next time.

To the basement parking.

This is an interesting shadow made from the reflection of the sun that bounced off a building behind. You see, the sun was in front of me, but I got shadows!

At this point, the kids had already gone ahead and were already waiting for me at the basement parking. They got impatient from all my photographing. LOL.

Well at least, I have some photos for this week's Shadow Hunters Edition! 😉
