Journey to the Bazaar🌍✨: Weekend Experience

Hi everyone! I hope y'all will be fine.
I have something interesting to share today.
Due to some personal reasons, I don't go out anywhere. I don't even go out for shopping. My Mother and Sister used to go shopping for me. These days I am trying to be a better and engaging person.
Recently, the "Engagement Ceremony" of one of my relatives occured. I couldn't attend that event. But, both the families were very happy. And I wish the newly engaged couple warm wishes.

The "Nikkah" and the "Marriage Ceremony" will occur next month, InshAllah.

As I am from the bride's side, the bride asked me if I could go out with her and select some beautiful invitation cards for the wedding. I didn't wanna go. But I said, Yes!

Everyone around me was shocked 😲. !!
That, Arshia!? She will go out for the selection purpose?

Anyway, I didn't pay any attention to any of those voices and my own voices from the back of my head. And I got ready for the "Bazaar". Oh, the bazaar! It's such a lively and bustling place, isn't it? I love exploring the different stalls and finding unique treasures.
My father was our driver.

The bazaar was located on "Waris Khan Road" in "Androon pindi (Internal Rawalpindi)". This place has it's own historic history. All over the bazaar there were shops of printing cards. And shadi(Wedding) cards. We went into a shop. And there were lots of different designs of Wedding cards.

We went in the shop. And after checking every design, the bride was still confused about designs.

As they were selecting cards, I stepped outside on the road. I felt great that I came out. Even though if it feels like a normal, day to day thing to others, it was a big thing for me to go out against my will.

This bazaar was so full and jam-packed.
People, bikes, cars, shops! And above all that the noise!! Everything was overehelming.

But beautiful at the same time. Isn't it?
These places have their own charm. Some of the shopkeepers were working there from generations. That means, the Bazaar is old enough.

Then I saw some beautiful "Mala".

Groom's in Pakistani desi weddings wear them in the "Sehra Bandi" event in the morning of "Baraat".

Then, we went to different places. And I must say, it was diffucult for us to make the shopkeeper understand about the designs. While the bride was finalizing the designs and the cards, I took beautiful pictures of other small cards and boxes specified to be used on wedding day for different purposes.

I was so intrigued.

Then, I saw another beautiful box that is my personal favorite.

I saw another ancient shop.

I came accross these beautiful flowers.

And then, after a lot of struggle, the design was final. My father knew so many ancient places where printing of so many things was going on. I saw printing machines and the work for the first time in my life. But the smell of the paint was amazing, almost addictive.

Everything was finalised. But it was a new experience for me to visit Androon Rawalpindi. I've never been to this place before.

We all were fasting because it is the holy month of Ramadan and by the end of all this we were so hungry. The hunger started to kick in. My Father asked me if there is any place where we can iftar.

We went to a place. And after that we did some shopping. And ended our day with coffee and icecream. It was delicious.
And the day was fabulous.
I stepped out of my place and it was amazing to explore new places and hence life.

This was my Weekend Experience.

Hope y'all enjoyed my blog.

Thank you so much for visiting.

To go outside, make me fresh. But if I went into the noise place, usually in the Bazaar, I got severe headache.
By the way, I also love the smell of paint.

These sehra bandi designs are just awesome and reminds me of old Desi marriages but sadly now time has shifted a lot.
