Little Cherine Book 09 - BPost047

“A meeting was arranged, about forty days ago, between the Nean leaders and us by Orgg and Jeskine. We went to them and I can’t help thinking my forefathers must be shocked. It was an interesting experience, but what impressed me the most were the changes in the way they think and talk. Nothing like Orgg…but still, very impressive. It is a pity they were not like this originally, we could have prevented so much hardship and hatred.”

“Did you meet in Orgg’s village?”

“Yes. The place he tells us you call Athens.” Robbie was amused by the idea of them adopting that name for their village because of Orgg and Jeskine.

“Did you meet their medicine woman?” Aganthi asked.

“Of course, after what you showed us, how could I resist? She made me feel like a child when she told me off for allowing my people to kill the children from mixed matings.”

“I sense you have a worry?”

“It was agreed they would come here for our next meeting. Robert, how will seeing our city affect them?”

“When is the next meeting?”

“In eight days.”

“I have an idea. Let them know through Orgg that you wish to have your next meeting at the place we discovered the Wirm nest. We’ll jump forward to that date with Freddie and do a telling of that discovery. As the telling ends the Wirms will appear in their millions, broadcasting their joy.” Everyone loved his proposal and King Meesartus promised to ask Orgg as soon as he sees him.

King Illafayéd sat munching away on sweets, nuts and so on, hardly speaking a word. I decided to tease him. “Are you getting too old to go on your long walks? Don’t you miss sensing Cherine in the mountains?”

“I am often tempted to do so, for they give me no peace here. If not my king, then it is Jeskine or Orgg who pester me to allow them to make me young. What is the point of our country having two young kings?”

“But think of the women.”

King Meesartus laughed. “Did you think his age would stop him Samantha? He is a father again.”

“Jeskine, she is a tender Cherine. She took my child, holding it in her arms with a face almost beautiful from love.”

Robbie grinned. “Did you make certain the mother was not your daughter or granddaughter?”

“How could I, should I have?” He cackled with amusement. “You see, you are a bad influence on me.”

I admit to being both baffled and confused. I tried to imagine any woman wanting to lie with such an old man and I could not. Are there truly women who can be so infatuated by the personality of a man that they ignore his old body and love him? I just got told off by my family for writing that - they are upset that I could even think the question and say I am shallow. I asked them which one of them could make love to him, which of them could imagine kissing him, with tongue in his toothless mouth and that silenced them - to the amusement of Robbie. It brought back memories to many, of the time Robbie aged himself and their reactions. Even those not born yet at the time have shared those memories - and been embarrassed by reacting to them.

Robbie had dissolved the castle and replaced it with cool homes for those working at the Wirm nest. It is the only one we can experiment on and the scientists say they are learning a lot from it. Borrowing from Mohammed the idea of tents, Robbie created extra large tents and made them sturdy for the Neans. He was careful to make them all the same, except for the tents of the leaders and their families which had extra luxury items inside for them to cater to a larger number of guests. Of course he had to adapt beds, chairs and so on to suit the physiognomy, weight and preferences of the occupants.

Jade took a granite block from Freddie (from Robbie’s mining, he keeps some stuff for him and Jade and any other artist who want them) and created bigger than life statues of a Nean and a Sap standing almost facing each other, clasping hands. She asked us to prepare a platform for it to stand on and we looked at each other with puzzlement. She soon realised we were not doing anything and quickly sketched out what she wanted, including the holes for the rods that will also enter the statues to hold them in place. She made clear the bottom of her statues must fit very snugly into the carved out top of our base so that it also helps hold the statues. As the girls decided who would do the work, I gladly walked off.

“Are we the only two not working? This place has become a madhouse.”

“Hi stranger. What do you mean, I am working.”

He grinned as he sat down. “Thinking up more questions?”

“No, I’ve got enough to keep me busy for a while. I’ve been examining my recent mistakes in the hope of discovering why I went wrong.”

“Leave them alone. Our time would be better spent having a game of backgammon.”

“I’m not much of a player Samuel.”

“All the more reason. Anyway, my ego needs someone I can beat.”

I grinned. “That was nasty, you know I can’t resist a challenge.” He won three out of five sets before I gave up.

“What do you do to keep busy when you are not playing tavli?”

“I’m studying. Have you been through the museums? The Unation one has some amazing stuff.”

“No, I just walked through it with everyone else at the official opening. I keep promising myself to take a look.”

“Come on then, I’ll be your guide.”

By the time we came out it was night and my family had eaten. They made space for the two of us and Maria brought out some just grilled lamb chops with chips and salad and I realised I was starving. Despite the light banter of my loves, as I ate I found some of the things I’d seen running through my mind. I can’t help wondering how many disciplines from Earth would give their right arm for a look inside the museum.

“Robbie? When we go home, can we bring scientists to see the museum? It is bound to give them a million ideas.”

“Stolen from our friends? If you saw anything we need, we negotiate and buy it, if they are selling.” I nodded, too lost in my thoughts to worry about being told off.

“I think your answer was superfluous Robert. If that was what you intended, you should have kept the museums locked. I’ve seen enough to give a hundred scientists at least ten ideas each. How many others have seen what I have?”

We all know Samuel was not defending me, he meant what he said, but my loves teased me for days about me spending the day with him and then his defending me, against Robbie of all people!

Robbie’s plan went off without a hitch. The Neans were amazed by the telling and all went to take a good look at the nest. When the Wirms suddenly appeared they were not the only ones incapacitated by the flood of joy. After that the meeting went very well and new agreements were reached. Orgg held his Jeskine very tightly to him when Meesartus offered to open the borders, allowing free visitation rights to Cherinian Neans who can jump.

The biggest headaches Jeskine has had over the last year were caused by Neans. They had no problem in learning to jump. Since they could only go where they have been it should not cause any problems - or so I would have thought. When Jeskine heard about Neans hurting themselves by jumping, she found out what the real problem is. They often forget to concentrate on the picture in their mind of their destination - even if it is within sight. They are also not very good at visualising.

We were all excited to see that the medicine woman had come with. She looks more like a middle aged Nean, but she still has the air of authority she had when she was old and crippled. Dommi was fascinated by her and they had a long conversation, mostly about herbs. Dommi was invited to visit her and learn directly in the field.

She confided that of the telling she’d seen, she’d enjoyed watching her first meeting with Jeskine the most. She admitted that she still chortles whenever she recalls how she’d spoken to her. A recording was made of it and presented to her with a player.

Solomon ensured Sparklers will watch over King Illafayéd and after lots of hugs and entreaties that we return soon, we jumped home.

* * * * *

Sometimes, when we go out, we project, but on the rare occasion we go as we are. Sheena is with us, and with so many of us to love her she radiates her happiness, causing many women to exclaim about her beauty and white hair. One such day, as we sat in Kefalari, we sensed a woman, middle-aged, coming towards us with her entire being radiating a constant dull ache of almost unbearable pain. Sheena stopped chatting and stared at her with enormous eyes. We soon realised she was aiming for Robbie and decided between us not to stop her, warning the government agents to let her be.

First she profusely apologised for bothering him and after he reassured her, she said. “Kyrie Teller, I need a favour from you, but it is not what you may expect.”

“We feel your pain, if we can help, we will.”

“I want you to enter my mind and see the life I have led. Nothing I hide from you, see everything please.”

This must be amongst the most startling requests we’ve ever had. A Normal asking us to use our telepathic abilities to view even the most secret thoughts!

“Just me or would you like Dominique to join me?”

“No, just you please.”

“We better go to our house. Would you like a coffee while you wait for the girls to finish?” We drank or ate what we’d ordered as quickly as possible. As we got up to leave, Sheena took her hand, emoting her yearning to be loved as she looked up at her.

Robbie asked her to lay on the bed and Dommi covered her with a quilted bedspread. “Kalliopi, it is better your body is comfortable so that it does not distract you. Close your eyes and try to welcome me into your mind. You will see me as a being made out of lights.”

“I thought you would just look into my thoughts, read them.”

6064

“I don’t think that is what you are asking of me. You said you wanted me to see even your most hidden thoughts. To do that I must leave my body to visit you. Even from within your mind, I will see only what you allow me to.”

Robbie waited for her terror to abate, only once she wondered why it was not working did he enter her mind. Details of what he saw are private, I can only report what was shared by Robbie later on.

When Robbie returned to his body he lay without moving for a while, his eyes filling with tears. It has been a very long time since we’ve felt him that depressed. Forcing himself to move he knelt by her bed and took her hands in his. She stared at him with ecstatic joy and, I think I can say, love. We guessed he had flooded her with his love motes.

“I have shared and I understand Kalliopi, you are not to blame but, neither is he. You were just unfortunate in this lifetime and nothing can be done to help you. I make you a promise, when you die I will see to it that when you are reborn you will be loved as you crave in this life. Your next life will be far more beautiful than you can imagine and it will last forever, for you will be a Cherinian.” He smiled at her. “Just think, as a Cherinian, you will be able at all times to actually feel the love everyone feels for you.”

Robbie has kept her secret and never allowed us to see her memories. What he did tell us suggests a lot and makes me sad. “She has loved someone her entire adult life, but he does not love her. That was not the reason she wanted me to see her thoughts, to know even what she hides from herself. Her family and friends have done nothing but criticise her, demanding she forgets him and makes a life of her own. They have called her weak, stupid and many other things, thinking that by hurting her they will force he to change and act sensibly. All she wanted was for one other person to know what she is going through, how empty and lonely her life is and that she can do nothing about it. She needed that someone knows she cannot fight her feelings, without asking that she be understood or justified. She cannot break free, she has obsessed on him for too long, that is why I promised to help her in her next life. Solomon has arranged for her to be watched so that my promise is kept.”

Over the next few nights he spent hours walking alone. When Dommi joined him he sat on a rock and put his arms around her. “She chose her life Dommi, I did not have the right to heal her.” Dommi looked up at him with surprise, surprised he would call the ridding of love a healing. “She had a very dominant father who battered her self-esteem. The man she loves, he once did her a kindness and she loved him, idealising him. She has not told him and never will because he is married and has a child.” She felt a tremor in his body and tightened her arms about him. “Do you know what tortures me? I’ve been thinking about Cherine, what life must have been like for her before we met. I’ve also been wondering, what is the point of having all the powers I do, if I cannot bring peace to one unhappy heart.”

Dommi is wiser than I am, I would have argued with him. She only allowed her head to rest against his chest and let him feel how he is not only her love, but also her comfort. That night Cherine did something she rarely does. She chose him as her special love of the night and her loving was the sweetest it has been for a long time. She also became cheeky, teasing him, and made him laugh.

6065

The amounts on official records spread all over the world was gathered by a reporter and released, causing quite a sensation. He worked out how much taxes the Cherinians have paid to the various countries and the UN and it is more than almost any country earns per year! It made me realise that Bruce was right. Now that he is not president we hope to be seeing him more often.

Oh, lovely! When I wrote the above, it gave Robbie an idea. He has officially requested that Earth lend Bruce to us for helping us deal with alternate Earths that are or are about to go to war. When it was announced, a hysteria of patriotism struck everyone, not only the Americans. People are really starting to think as a species, as a planet, despite them no longer believing they must become homogenised.

Bruce sent an urgent message through Hettie and Eddie, asking to secretly meet us.

“Sally and I not only feel honoured at your request, but also deeply touched. Robert, I must ask, do not only ask for us. Choose at least another two and announce you feel a panel of advisors of the best Earth has to offer could help you save countless lives.”

Robbie nodded. “I had not thought it through, thank you, Hettie will see to it immediately.”

6066

I grinned. “Are you going to ask for the President of China? He is about to retire.” It had seemed so obvious a choice to me that I was amazed when I felt their shock. Bruce quickly recovered and gave me a little bow.

“I’ll have to repeat Roberts’ words and admit I had not thought it through. Well done Samantha, he is a good choice - and he is going to frustrate me many time over the years!” He gave a grin that definitely was slightly malicious. “I can’t wait to see what reaction your choice will get you - from our people and his.” Everybody laughed.

I have not worked out whether Hettie was being clever or just plain devious. She announced our new request, but added that Samantha asked for the president of China once he retires. I think she just wanted to deflect any anger among the Americans and Europeans away from Robbie. I guess it is useful having a butterfly to blame. J

R: She had sworn never to call herself a butterfly again, but she does so repeatedly! She is in for a lot of teasing and I’m going to take part.

Come on Arthur, come to us to save me please.

Dear reader, did you see that? I ask for his help and he only answers ‘lol’! Don’t you agree with me that he doesn’t deserve me?

Cherinians are the flavour of the week. What with hearing how much taxes we pay, what we have invested in education and so on over the previous year and then our request for a panel of advisors, everybody suddenly seems to love us. I wonder how long it will last.

It is the day of Fota (lights) and Robbie is, according to his battered and expired old passport, officially forty eight years old. As a paedophile, I don’t think I should be with a man that old! (Robyn: She got battered by so many pillows we thought she would drown in them, but we could still hear her smothered giggles from underneath. Robbie let us have our fun and then grabbed her and jumped.)

Robbie was in high spirits. We arrived in a different reality, the one of the ‘rich’ Robert. Funny that, he does not seem so rich anymore, just nice. Robbie and I sent him our best wishes (of course it was not his birthday, but we left him to puzzle it out) and went to a boutique. Robbie had me buy a full set for me as an adult, we jumped to the guest bedroom at Robert's house where I changed and we shot off to London. Robbie was in a mood for playing roulette and he wanted a good meal. They thought he was the local Robert and let us in without his membership card. I did what most women do when their man goes to a casino. I stood by his side trying to look beautiful, got bored (he was losing) and walked off to find a table for me to play at.

A man, young, lithe and darkly handsome, made space for me at his table and when I was handed my chips (none of us play at the electronic roulette machines, we like the real thing) the dark haired man decided to be my patron (for altruistic reasons of course) and whispered to me, “Number one should come up now.”

I surrounded numbers three and zero and I lost of course. His number one chips lost, but he got his money back on seventeen. They delayed us a moment as the croupier changed, so I waited to get a feel from the woman taking his place. I really did not like her mind (emoting) so I blindly put my remaining stack on number thirty five so as to return to Robbie. I won!

I asked to be paid out and left the table. The young man followed me. “Very impressive! Perhaps you should teach me how to play roulette. By the way, I am Renwick, Simon Renwick, Canadian by birth.” He looked as if he expected a reaction from me.

“Nice to meet you Mr Renwick. If you will excuse me, I’m on my way back to my husband, I’m hungry.”

6067

The idiot followed me. As Robbie turned towards me Simon called out, “Robert! I didn’t know you are in London.” Robbie was fast, even as he turned he queried Robert. His smile became a polite one.

“Simon, still wasting your family’s fortune I see.”

“Don’t tell me you and Cherine have divorced, this beautiful young lady just told me you are her husband.”

“She probably did so to get rid of you. A drink?”

“Later, I think you are expected to escort the young lady to the dining room.”

“Robert does not like him?”

“He tolerates him. He was the first well known person to buy a painting of his and soon his friends were also buying his paintings, so he owes him - or so Simon thinks.”

“Does he dislike him because he doesn’t work?”

Robbie laughed. “Work, my love? He works far harder than I do. Robert dislikes him because he flirts with Cherine every time they meet.” That gave me the giggles.

By the time dinner was over we were both feeling mellow and anticipated finding ourselves a hotel room. Robert let Robbie know that Simon has phoned and spoken to Cherine, telling her he’d just met Robert at the casino with some second rate would-be starlet. I was not laughing anymore.

Cherine told him I am heiress to a fortune that rivals his own and am trusted by my family to run things. All Cherines have a funny way of telling the truth, but it did result in him becoming interested in me. (It seems he has not met their Samantha since they never visit each other.) Just to put me on the spot, Robbie decided to sit at a Black Jack table. I told him he is not a gentleman and he grinned at me, his grin turning into a broad smile as the dealer flipped over his hidden card and he saw he has 21. I considered jumping out of there just to cause him problems.

With a smile, Simon wagged a finger (don’t you feel like biting it off when someone does that to you?). “Two rebuffs in one, you are an amazing woman. First you tell me you are married, but you also keep your name a secret.”

“I am Samantha. That is all you are getting out of me.”

“Were you a tomboy as a child Samantha?”

“I don’t think so.”

“Okay, just wanted to know whether I should call you Sam. Samantha, I have reserved a table if you would join me for a drink.”

“Wouldn’t you rather find yourself a tomboy? I don’t play games.”

He grinned. “A dangerous woman, just the kind I like.” His hand was on my elbow, not so subtly leading me to his table. It sort of put my back up even further.

He made some small talk until the drinks arrived and I’d sipped at mine. “Tell me Simon, what kind of business are you in?” I thought he was going to choke on his drink, but I also felt a sudden dislike for me.

“You have not heard of Renwick Mining? We are one of the four largest diamond mining and trading companies.”

I made myself sound bored. “Oh, you deal in stones.”

6068

“And what are you in?”

I grinned. “Something that looks like your diamonds.”

“Zircons!”

“No, stars. Not starlets you understand, stars, like twinkle-twinkle in the sky. We are designing and building ships for space.”

“Surely that is still far in the future? You are pulling my leg.”

“Not at all. Of course we’ve had to get into other lines, like instant transportation to our ships - it would be too wasteful of energy and would pollute our planet if we had to land the things for passengers and cargo.”

“Ah, you are teasing. I’ve seen a few Star Trek movies.”

I nodded, looking pleased. “Yes, something like that, I’m glad you understand. You do realise that we can undercut the shipping companies and deliver our cargo on the other side of the world within the same day. We are very excited about our future.” Cherine chuckled in my mind and asked me to take it easy, they are not ready to let the public know about them yet.

I let go my sliver with particular instructions and sat back to enjoy my taunting of Mr Bigshot. He floundered between thinking I am joking and then, as I said something that made it obvious I am knowledgeable about business, he’d find himself half believing me despite himself.

“Surely the media would have made your name famous if it were true?”

“Those who should know, do. I’m not interested in making a splash with the media. Time for that when we are ready.” I stood up. “Mr Renwick, it is not polite to think a lady is a liar. Come with me.” I sensed Robbie quickly cashing in.

I had him by the elbow as we walked out on to the pavement. “This way Mr Renwick, to the centre of Berkeley Square with just little me. Surely you won’t refuse?”

As we found ourselves alone, I pretended to open my handbag and do something inside it as I kept one hand on him. I jumped him to Freddie.

I gave him just seconds to gape and we were back in Berkeley Square. I looked around, obviously perplexed. “I thought this square was famous for its nightingales! I don’t hear any singing. We better go back.”

Robbie arrived and I gaily wished Mr Renwick goodnight, leaving him standing alone in the dark.

That was a lovely night of loving and Robbie actually wanted me as I was, an adult. He said that loving the vicious child in me was overwhelming, that if I had the body of a child also, it would be too much.

I lay on his shoulder as he sat up, idly doodling my fingertip over his chest. “You’ve messed up my plans. I’d been hoping to spend ten minutes away with a day elsewhere with each of you for my birthday. I decided it would be my gift to myself for this day.”

“Freddie was only here for minutes dad.”

He grinned. “Calling me dad when you are an adult feels strange. You trying to make me feel old?”

Robbie had his day with each of us, except for Sheena. She did not know what he planned (that should teach him ) and anyway, she had something on her mind and leaving us, went into her bedroom. Bedroom equates with ‘privacy’ at such moments, so nobody monitored her. We did think it was strange when she did not come out within three hours and since we wanted to go dancing, Dommi knocked on her door and entered. Sheena was sitting on her bed looking real pleased with herself.

6069

The same pattern developed over the next days until we began to worry. The only problem was, she looked and felt so pleased with herself when she came out, that we could not question her. We all tried to guess what is going on, but nobody even came close to the truth. The only reason why we did discover what she was up to was because she got carried away and forgot to return within three hours. When we found her bedroom empty, Robbie instantly left his body and searched for her as the void. He found her, watched for a few minutes and then returned to us. This time he did not even smile into Candy’s eyes, but she sensed he is in an emotional turmoil so she did not get upset.

“She is visiting Kalliopi and she is emoting her yearning to be loved so powerfully she must have affected the entire neighbourhood.”

“What is Kalliopi doing?”

“Nothing. Just listening to Sheena and playing with her. Dommi, she has grown to love Sheena, but she is also afraid.”

“Of Sheena!?”

“No, of me. She thinks I will be angry when I find out and stop Sheena going to visit her.”

Aganthi said, her voice only half a question, “You will do nothing, Roberto mou?”

“Of course. But I will watch over her. I want to know how she gets there.”

“No Roberto, she is in privacy.”

“Come on, she is just a child, not a full Cherinian yet, and with her white hair she sticks out. There are many who still hate us, I can’t risk her…”

Cherine spoke to Aganthi and Dommi. “Robert will respect her privacy. Dommi, you don’t have to. Wait for her in her bedroom.” (You see Arthur? We females also have our double standards. )

Sheena explained. The first time Kalliopi came to us, Robbie took her home. She monitored Robbie and had a feel for where Kalliopi lived - more or less. The first time she jumped to the area and strained to feel her. The trouble is, when she strains, she forgets and yearns. Within a short time traffic had come to a halt as a crowd grew around her. Kalliopi, as with everyone else in the apartments above her, sensed her need, but only went out to her balcony because of the change in the usual city noise. She saw Sheena and ran down to her. Everyone was in too much of a daze to react when she picked Sheena up and disappeared into her building. Since then she has been jumping into her flat directly.

“What are you trying to do Sheena?”

“She is like me, asking for love all the time. I tell her about the gobbies and what Robbie did to us. She ask for more stories, so I tell. She stop wanting so much and now happy when I go.”

It is impossible to describe what a room feels like when fifty four people are feeling foolish.

The next day Robbie went with Sheena and brought Kalliopi to us. We had cake and coffee ready.

“I’ve explained we are very pleased with what Sheena did and will not stop her visiting. However, I think we have been given a hint by Sheena as to what our next step should be. How about arranging with Petsas for her to help children?”

6070

We talked him out of taking such a drastic step by pointing out that she would have to become a Cherinian, which was not such a good idea (for Kalliopi). Dommi spoke to Alki and she was accepted as a volunteer at a local orphanage. Sheena still visits her, but not every day now. As for Kalliopi, it did not take long for us to feel her change. Having so much love to give and somewhere to give it, has opened her, her obsession only torturing her when she goes to bed. I hope even that will fade away.

A thought has crossed my mind. Is there any creature apart from humans of every species, that becomes ill if it has nowhere or no one to give love to?

Contrary to what Robbie believes is possible, a civil servant has set the entire world arguing with itself. He is an avid stamp collector and he began to worry what would happen if stamps from other realities are brought over. For instance, what if we went to a reality, back in time, and brought a hundred Penny Black Stamps? He wrote to The Times, suggesting each reality be given a name and all letters should henceforth bear the name of the reality it belongs to. That made the British Post Office sit up. They requested we confirm that Cherinians are not carrying mail across realities without a licence.

The real fight erupted when people decided they wanted this reality to be called:

Prime Reality or Alpha Reality
Cherine Reality
Samantha Reality (I cringed at that one, the Chinese made that suggestion)

More names were suggested, but you get the idea? Robbie turned them all down. He even appeared on television to explain why. Alki told him he planned on suggesting ‘Roberto’s Reality’ and got Robbie going just as he’d planned. Hettie watched us fooling around and suggested ‘The Childish Reality’. Robbie agreed to that and she had to fight to convince him she was joking and that it is unacceptable. He had a good laugh and she threw a pillow at him. That really had us all screaming with laughter.

About eight years ago, Robbie asked an Fisp to create a machine capable of drawing energy from the void. At that time his concern was for Freddie, but since then he has watched the Imefi and their ships with a tinge of envy. I suspect it bruises his ego that he can become the void, but cannot work out how the Imefi draw energy from there. He has tried examining their void feelers as the void, slowing down time, magnifying them and whatever else he could think of without any success.

Yesterday the team made up of all species announced that they have had a breakthrough. The energy they are able to tap into is not enough to light a tiny bulb and the equipment is horribly expensive and complicated, but it does not matter. The first window into a new source of energy for all species has been opened and it will open wider, the equipment will come down in cost and I believe that someday the Irene will be self-powered from the void. As long as they have Cherinians aboard, the ship will be able to jump realities. Robbie better ask all Cherinians to refuse to take the Irene or any other spaceship belonging to Normals back in time. I wonder, will Robbie’s ban on visiting virgin Earths be adhered to?

A side effect of the announcement is that the Terran scientists who ridiculed our claims regarding the voids’ existence, claiming our brains were hallucinating, are now taking the void very seriously. Why? Because of the hope that they can beat the others to siphoning large amounts of energy and becoming really filthy rich.

Another first - and it frightens me. Arthur contacted me (he asked me to delete, but gave permission to explain what happened), asking what had I been doing. Apparently my typing in the diary, or else, my thoughts as I did, reached him in a horribly garbled manner, giving him a severe headache as it screeched off into ultra high sounds. He said he felt as if he were dying.

I hope you enjoy reading this story of fantasy, adventure and love - and should some of it be true for our reality, I hope you will love our Cherine.
