I haven't shared much since I became a member of Ecency site. I wanted to write about a news I heard recently.

Plastic bagsdoes not disappear in nature for 500 years

The first plastic bag was invented in Sweden in 1965. We didn't use plastic bags before.

The use of plastic in the world is increasing and polluting the nature. Previously, we used to do our grocery shopping not with plastic bags, but with paper bags and fabric bags.

The plastic plate does not disappear in nature for 500 years, the plastic water pipe remains for a thousand years, the human lifespan is 80-90 years, the life of the diaper is 550 years.

Everyone who loves their environment and nature should avoid using plastic bags as much as possible. If we think that human life is 80-90 years, I think that using things that will harm nature for 1000 years is an insult to both ourselves and future generations.
