lesja knew every resident in the house. she lived here when the internet was connected and when the 2/c became an airbnb apartment. if a new guest arrived, she always took something out of the market bin, sometimes a withered carrot, sometimes a cracked shot glass or an ugly bird key ring, and put it on the doormat. the guests were puzzled by the strange souvenirs, yet somehow they felt welcomed by the city. lesja licked her paw contentedly, then crept down the gangway, visited the old lady on the ground floor, who always set aside a few morsels for her, sniffed around the forest-smelling hiking boots on the third, stole a few olives from the fourth, chased the pigeons out of the attic, and then went up to the roof to play a little with city.

leszja minden lakót ismert a házban. itt lakott, amikor bekötötték az internetet, itt, amikor airbnb-s lakás lett a 2/c-ből. ha új vendég érkezett, mindig elcsent valamit a piac kukájából, hol egy fonnyadt répát, hol egy repedt felespoharat vagy egy ronda madaras kulcstartót, és lerakta a lábtörlőre. a vendégek értetlenül álltak a furcsa szuvenírek előtt, valahogy mégis úgy érezték, befogadta őket a város. leszja elégedetten nyalogatta a mancsát, majd végigosont a gangon, meglátogatta a földszinten az idős hölgyet, aki mindig félretett neki pár falatot, körbeszaglászta a harmadikon az erdőszagú túrabakancsokat, ellopott pár olajbogyót a negyedikről, kikergette a galambokat a padlásról, majd felült a tetőre játszani a várossal.
