Goodbye HDFC BANK

I am not a huge fan of Banks and how they work, but I acknowledge that Banks are necessary for the development of any country since I am from India, which is one of the fastest-growing Economies I held bets on some Banks and bought Stocks of them altogether. In this Portfolio of mine, I had Stocks of 4 Banks namely Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Bank, and HDFC Bank. But after around 6 months of buying these Stocks when the markets were hardcore BEARISH, I came across multiple Scams that were going around in different Banks whether it was a Bank Manager spending Millions of Customer Funds on their Girlfriends or a Bank Employee selling Fake ULIP plans to Old Aged People. There were a lot of them going around and in my mind, I was thinking why the hell am I invested in such Companies which may just disappear any day due to such SCAMS?

But I was still in RED

So I held onto those stocks for 2 more months and then I saw some Positive Movement I sold 3 of the Banking Stocks I had but HDFC Bank was still in Deep RED so I had no choice but to hold it for a long time and I can finally say that I sold all my Banking Stocks today and even though a part of me knows that the run could have gone a little longer I am happy with getting around 12 percent Return on something that I didn't believe in and just dusting my hands off them.
Now the next thing that I also need to say is that I am not going to Invest in any Banking Stocks for now as I am scared that more SCAMS may unfold and my Investment goes down the drain. So yeah looking for new Stocks to Invest in and possibly might Invest in INVOICE DISCOUNTING.
