Habits to make yourself Calm

Calmness is a feeling that I feel like everyone should have in life but for better or for worse most of us don't have that Calmness in our lives. In my case, I am usually calm but there are times when I explode whether it is an Explosion of Sadness or Anger that is variable but my Calm state of Mind changes and at this time I feel like we should do some things so that we can lower our Emotions and reach a Calm State of Mind.

Take Some Deep Breaths

This is something pretty basic and everyone knows that you should take deep breaths to calm yourself when you are not calm but we seldom apply this method ourselves. There are several Breathing exercises that you can find online but I feel just natural Deep Breathing helps a lot in calming a person down.

Listening to Music

Almost everyone will say that listening to calm and slow music can help you be calm but I will say that rather than listening to calm Music listen to Music that you like as for me that is something that makes me calm whenever I am agitated.

Meditation

This is kind of not a surprise as we all know how Meditation helps us to calm ourselves so yeah Meditation Helps.

Guided Imagery

This is a method that I use every single day when I go to sleep. I have a few memories in my mind some of which are full of joy, some full of tears, and so on and when I go to sleep I tap onto these memories to get the overall feeling to myself. This may sound weird but trust me it works and yes I had to practice this for over 6 months before I could actually recall a memory accurately but now I can feel whatever feeling I want before I fall asleep which makes me Calm.
