Alcohol is something that is not a necessary item in our day-to-day life but the majority of the adult public likes to indulge in this guilty pleasure. I am one such guy who enjoys his Whiskeys and Beers and I don't ask Nom Drinkers to drink nor do I ask Drinkers to stop drinking, but the fact remains that the societal norm for Drinking is not that good in India.

So Should you Quit Drinking?

I will say that if you are somebody who drinks a lot then you should probably lower down the frequency of your drinks as drinking a lot of booze is not good for health. Alcohol can cause both short term and long term effects such as light buzziness which is actually something that we drink for, all the way to headaches and hangovers. These are symptoms that we kind of want from a good night of drinking but at the same time it is not good to always be at this state. So in my opinion a person should always drink in moderation.

For example if you are in a business affair then a couple of drinks should be more than enough so that you are mixing fun with work but at the same time be sober enough to conduct your business. Next is casual drinking and this is a category where it really depends upon person to person as to how many drinks it takes to get the BUZZ. So it is really upto you as to how much you drink but if you ask me I will say that drinking casually only on a Occassion basis is the way to go as here you are not drinking daily as that is harmful in a lot of spaces.

One reason for me personally is that drinking alcohol a lot makes your stomach Acidic in nature atleast that's in my case so I only drink on Ocassions which come like once or twice a month and other than that no matter what is going on in my life I stay away from Alcohol.

I very rarely drink alcohol. Drinking with measure, with responsibility is fine.

I love drinking but I always make sure that I don't drink alone as that is a steep slope towards addition.

Plus I have my wife who keeps me in check whenever I go a little astray.

Alcohol is great and all because of the buzzy feeling it gives but it eventually becomes harmful in the long run, especially as it seriously affects the liver if consumed frequently over many years

Frequently drinking is definitely not good for the long run as it almost never ends well.
