The Celebration Begins

It is that time of the year when everything lights up in the state of West Bengal, India. Yes, it's time for our Puja Celebration and even though it started a couple of days ago the main celebration starts from today. Today was Saptami and I spent most of the day playing games and in the evening I went out for Pandale Hopping which basically means I went to every single Puja in town hopping from one to the other. We still have 3 more days of celebration among which 2 days I am going to party hard and the last day I am going to visit my mom and dad for their blessings as it's tradition to do so.

The above picture is of Sashti when Goddess Durga arrived at our area and as you can see in the above picture there was almost no one that was not dancing and having a good time. We welcomed Goddess Durga to our place with joy and some music as well. Even though we celebrated as much as we could I have to say that the atmosphere of DURGA PUJA is not the same as it used to be pre-Covid and that is something we all feel. I am just hoping that day comes soon when we are no longer afraid of a Virus floating around the Air and causing us harm and we celebrate without any restrictions.

Just so you know normally during Durga Puja it is even hard to Ride a Bike as it's so crowded.
