What makes me Feel Empowered?

Empowerment is a feeling that is not known to me as I have hardly felt empowered in my life but that is kind of a false statement as even if you don’t feel empowered I have felt that it is your Parents that always give you the sense of empowerment by just being there for you.

There are several ways my Parents have empowered me and I will cite two instances that are very vibrant in my mind.

For example my Dad has always been the one who have trusted me completely blindly, even if the topic in hand is something that my Dad knows nothing about he would still have absolute confidence in my ability to do the best I can. This attitude of my Dad has always played a key role in my Life as I always knew that no matter what my Dad is there to hold me if I fall back and even push me forward if I fall down.

As for my Mom she is kind of the Polar opposite to my Dad. It’s not like she never believed in me but what she did was give me a reality check every now and then and even though she was quite harsh on me in my childhood days, she always had my back whenever she was out with her friends.

I feel myself as a Lucky Guy to have such Parents that have always empowered me to do things that I want to do and support me to their fullest abilities while giving me a Reality Check every now and then.
