Traditional event in Aceh
hello friends, this is my first post @liketu, hopefully it can be accepted and useful, greetings from me
in my post this time I want to show that one of the customs of the Acehnese people, especially in my village, is still doing this tradition.
rice field feast or in aceh language called khenduri blang,
this event is accompanied by a prayer together as a form of gratitude for the previous harvest and hopes that the future harvest will be abundant.
This tradition has been carried out since time immemorial from generation to generation from our grandfathers and ancestors.
This activity is carried out twice a year.
done twice a year after the harvest season is over,
We do this thanksgiving event with great hope that our future harvest will be abundant, and far from all disturbances and pests.

when this event took place, mothers came and gathered with their respective utensils, mothers, brought rice, pots, spoons, and the men brought wood, water, and other equipment,
after arriving at the venue, usually men and women share the task, the men make the kitchen, while the women usually cut vegetables, and clean the chicken,
and the children play of course,
and ended with a meal together.
This event is very useful as a gathering place for fellow farmers, and the community in our village, this can also be said to be traveling together.
after the mothers finished cooking, the next event was a prayer together, led by a religious figure, and then it could only be determined when they could start farming again.
and ended with a meal together.
