CONCEPTO - CONCEPT
Lately I have been very busy for these parties, but even so I managed to make time to draw a little, although at the time of drawing I spent a long time thinking about what and how I should draw it and I have to confess that sometimes it happens to me that I lose practice by not drawing daily, but in the end I ended up painting an adorable girl in a fantastic environment and since I have recently fallen in love with watercolor I decided to make it look like a worn painting as you will see.
Últimamente eh estado muy ocupado por estas fiestas, pero aun así logre hacer tiempo para dibujar un poco, aunque al momento de dibujar estuve mucho tiempo pensando en que y como debería dibujarlo y eh de confesar que a veces me pasa que pierdo practica al no dibujar diariamente, pero al final termine pintando a una adorable niña en un ambiente fantástico y dado que últimamente me ha enamorado la acuarela decidí hacerla que pareciera una pintura desgastada como ya verán.
PROCESO - PROCESS
I started with a quick sketch which I then gradually shaped until I had the "lineart" then I began to add pastel colors for the face and added cold colors for the shadows.
Inicié con un bosquejo rápido al que luego fui dando forma poco a poco hasta tener el "lineart" luego empecé a agregar colores pasteles para el rostro y añadí colores fríos para las sombras.
I stopped for a moment to think about the type of hairstyle that our character would wear, I finally decided on a short style that would give lightness to the face and added movement with some strands.
Me detuve un momento a pensar en el tipo de peinado que llevaría nuestro personaje, decidí al final un estilo corto que le diera ligereza al rostro y añadí movimiento con algunos mechones.
After adding the hairstyle I began to add details to the face, always remember that the shadows give depth and even if it is contradictory they are necessary to give luminosity to the face.
Después de agregar el peinado comencé a añadir detalles al rostro, siempre recuerden que las sombras dan profundidad y aunque sea contradictorio son necesarias para dar luminosidad al rostro.
Already at this stage I wanted to add a stronger color to contrast the scene a bit and I included it in the wardrobe in a simple way, avoiding detail and opposing the concept of the very base of the painting, but with a lot of elegance in my opinion.
Ya en esta etapa quise agregar un color más fuerte para contrastar un poco la escena y lo incluí en el vestuario de forma simple, eludiendo al detalle y contraponiéndose al concepto de la base misma de la pintura, pero con mucha elegancia a mi parecer.
Already in the final part of the creation I tried to create a dark atmosphere that would give life to a fantastic scene, to do so I added colored strokes with a watercolor style and I wanted them to flow out of line to show how the colors blend with each other, as well as reality with fantasy, and finally add a game of brilliance to in this way give life ... not to the character ... but to the unreal.
ya en la parte final de la creación me esmere en crear una atmosfera oscura que permitiera dar vida a una escena fantástica, para hacerlo añadí trazos de colores con un estilo de acuarela y quise que fluyeran fuera de toda línea para mostrar cómo se funden los colores unos con otros, así como la realidad con la fantasía, ya para terminar agregue un juego de brillos para de esta forma dar vida... no al personaje.... sino a lo irreal.
And so was the whole process to finish this painting that took me many hours, a lot of coffee and the use of two programs, I sincerely hope you liked it, until the next time!
Y asi fue todo el proceso para terminar esta pintura que me llevo muchas horas, mucho cafe y el uso de dos programas, espero sinceramente que les haya gustado, hasta la proxima!!
