     The last few weeks have been extremely hot here in SE Asia, and Thailand has particularly had a tough time with temps there even hotter than here in Cambodia. There are many creative ways people in SE Asia beat the heat, especially when the power is out and there is no fan or aircon to save the day. Perhaps you beat the heat with a swim or a motorbike ride, and for this challenge I want to see the various ways us ASEAN Hivers beat the heat.

     In my case there is no better way to beat the heat than an ice cold coconut. I like to shave them down really small and toss them in the freezer for an hour, and they are so refreshing. A nice hammock spot in a shady location is another good way to beat the heat, so I guess you all the get the idea by now. I look forward to seeing your techniques for beating the heat, now let's look at the winners of last week's challenge.

🎬 My Favorite TV Shows 📺

     I learned of a few shows in this challenge that I'd like to check out when I have some downtime. I am flying to the USA in a couple of days, so perhaps that's a better chance than ever to watch some shows because I have long flights and lots of layovers. I highly recommend you check out our 1st prize winner's post because there are several shows worth checking out, plus a concise review of each one.

ASEAN Hive Community Challenge #55: My Favorite TV Shows (Non-Animated Version)

Genre: Drama | Fantasy | Horror
It currently has four seasons on Netflix and I have watched all of them twice. It's basically about a group of friends trying to survive from the forces of supernatural entities from the "upside down".
I like it because it's so fun and exciting to watch. The characters are so adorable and the soundtrack is great. The setting gives you the vibes of the late 80s. Though I was born in the 90s, I can still see some stuff that brings nostalgia. The effects were also amazing, so it's more amusing to watch. :) I can't wait for the final season. I hope they release it soon.

Another interesting thing is that this show is very tense. Moreover, the challenges in broadcasting the program are quite difficult. If I become a participant in the event, I must have many references to dishes with various types of ingredients. The most annoying thing on this agenda was the comments from the judges who were very scathing.
