June 24th, 2021Another week has passed and another raffle is upon us, with two top delegators and two underdogs winning. The silver and bronze raffles are very competitive even though they aren't necessarily for the biggest rewards. If I remember correctly, @reidenling90 won a silver raffle not long ago, so I guess the raffle gods must be on his side.
This week @rosmadirazali upped his delegation and moved up several spots, putting the odds increasingly in his favor. We also have a totally new delegator this week, @amayphin, but she's no stranger to the ASEAN Hive Community, and was even featured as our most ASEAN Hiver Of The Week. @chichi18 has also come onboard as new delegator, finding a home among the Bronze VIPs.
Last but not least is @abizahid, who has joined us with 25HP, not enough to be a Bronze VIP, but he knew that and still wanted to support ASEAN Hive a little anyways. He's still eligible for the daily footer raffles, and of course we give thanks for folks who choose to support Southeast Asian content on Hive by delegating.

How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works
Every raffle I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you ASEAN Hivers (excluding [me] @justinparke, @kidsisters, & @sreypov), with a minimum delegation of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP 🥉 BRONZE Raffle.
There are four separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and fairer.
This week's total effective HP is 80,812, and total delegated HP is 76,495 HP (51,532 HP minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP), so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.
The more you delegate, the greater your chances are to win, and this weekly raffle is just a fun way to reward supporters of Southeast Asian content on Hive.
