July 15th, 2021This week the biggest news has to be @jacuzzi's delegation increase, taking himself to an even 1,000 HP and earning himself a GOLD VIP. @luueetang also has upped to his delegation to a whopping 999 HP, putting at the top of the SILVER VIPs and maximizing his chance for a raffle win.
This theme of delegation increases continued with @alvonsohiver, who bumped his number up to 350 HP, and @rosmadirazali, who climbed to 265 HP. Every single HP is appreciated, no matter how big or how small, and I also give thanks to @alvonzo for upping his support to 83 HP. This upswell gives me more and more motivation to keep ASEAN Hive moving ever upward, and I am still shocked by the scale of the support you all have shown through the years.
I never imagined we'd ever reach 100,000 HP combined HP, but it's already very close to realization. This community has legs, and it's all thanks to our delegators. There are many communities on Hive with exponentially more voting power than us, and yet you all continue to help ASEAN Hive rise, I am humbled. We have grown to this level all while avoiding Hive politics, pretty darn amazing, you are all just outstanding. Now let's move on to the winners, of which 3 out of 4 are Malaysian, almost a complete shutout, and proof that although small in numbers, you Malaysians are among the greatest supporters of this community.

How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works
Every raffle I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you ASEAN Hivers (excluding [me] @justinparke, @kidsisters, & @sreypov), with a minimum delegation of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP 🥉 BRONZE Raffle.
There are four separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and fairer.
This week's total effective HP is 97,183, and total delegated HP is 92,536 HP (62,626 HP minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP), so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.
The more you delegate, the greater your chances are to win, and this weekly raffle is just a fun way to reward supporters of Southeast Asian content on Hive.

He's upped his weekly raffle odds to 3:1, gonna be an occasional win now. but you two are battling for 64% now instead of 61%. The two of you guys are like pillars in the community, and Nadi too, likely ASEAN Hive's most well-known furry friend.
Of course I would never refuse any additional delegation offers, but I also would never ask any more support of you and Dave, you two have already gone above and beyond. I've upped the daily footer raffles to 15% now , also pondering additional ideas to reward delegators.
i didn't do the delegation increase yet but I will. not tomorrow though. That's bowling day.
