This week's featured ASEAN Hiver is an upstanding gentleman and fellow lover of curry leaves. He's also a father and husband to a well-known ASEAN Hive veteran, the one and only @coloringiship. This gentleman hasn't been on Hive for very long, and if you'd like to know more about him than I can share in this post, please check out his Hive Introduction
Off-Hive this guy leads a busy life working in the world of broadcasting, particularly the recording side of things. I think his work experience can give him a base of valuable knowledge as a content creator on Hive. He now joins the ranks of a few other families that are on ASEAN Hive together, and I particularly love to see the same life from different eyes. With quality posts and genuine engagement, he's off to a good start on this blockchain, and of course he recently became a BRONZE VIP, and with this comes full access to the VIP Lounge.
I have shared his two most recent posts here for you all, and they both demonstrate his culinary abilities, just one of many more talents I think we will see in his blog. He doesn't post exclusively in our community, so I recommend you give his blog a direct visit if you find @rencalson's content to your liking. Curry leaves are a frequent ingredient in his dishes, and I can't fault him for that because they are also one of my favorite ingredients.

I have never tasted a curry leaf before well probably because here in the Philippines we just use the curry powder and I haven't seen curry leaves sold in our markets even in the supermarkets, well, maybe there is but because I don't use them so I wouldn't even know... Haha. That just aroused my taste buds because even our admin @justinparke says he's also using it in their dishes. I would love to taste this dishes in the future.

Curry leaves aren't a very common ingredient in SE Asia, seemingly only used in places that had Hindu or Indian influence historically. They are so flavorful and complex that even when using only curry leaves, dishes taste like they contain several spices. Thanks for stopping by with a kind congratulations for this gentleman.
