Greetings ASEAN Hivers, this post comes a little late, it's June 1st and I've just turned 40 years old, hard to believe how fast it has come. I'm in a rush to finish this curation before going out to a birthday dinner with family at a small Thai cafe near my hometown. No matter the situation though, there are always some posts that fall through the Hive curation cracks, and I've got four for your consideration.

Starting off with a serene sunset in the Philippines, we then travel over to Malaysia to visit a Thai temple, something I didn't even know existed there. After a temple tour I was left hungry, and luckily I found a tasty veggie lumpia recipe deserving of some more rewards. Last but not least was a Santa Cruzan Procession back in the Philippines. The beautiful clouds might be mistaken as an entry for @tobetada's love the cloud challenge but I have something definite for that. I just want others to see how fake I smile everyday, how I battle alone my problems. But the good thing is I met hive, the way that I wrote makes my burdens lessen. And it goes like this again....

^{(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ)} Took me around 1-hour drive from my house. And finally, this is the main temple that welcomes you. Looks any familiar? Yeah, I know right. Shall we move on? The main door welcomes you to the temple. Inside the temple with lots of statues and the main Buddha in the middle for prayers. Not only this there's also a monk who offers blessing for you as well. It's completely free you can offer anything you want in return.

^{(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ)} Years ago, I attended one of the Enrichment activity of the Women organization in our church. It was a homemaking activity of which the topic is home cooked meals. One mother was sharing to us her way of preparing the common Filipino food Vegetable Lumpia. What she taught us during that time was not the usual way of preparing it. It still tastes good and easy to prepare. All you need is 5 ingredients.

Santa Cruz Visits Our Home

^{(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ)} Yesterday was the Feast Day of my mother's birth home. We didn't got the chance to went to Bohol this year to celebrate it, because were planning it next year. And on the other part, that day it's always our schedule to give a snacks to the kids of our Santa Cruzan Procession. So yesterday I ask my co-worker to exchange a shift.
