Greetings ASEAN Hivers, the lounge gets better and better with time, and now I am glad to announce the addition of our first electric massage chair.

     Look, I can't afford to have a full-time massage therapist in the lounge, we just aren't at those levels of wealth yet, but I've done my best to offer the next best thing. I have placed our electric massage chair at the edge of the badminton court so you can relax while watching other VIPS do the opposite of relaxing. I trust you all will not fill it with it potato chip dust and espresso stains in the first week 😉.

     I am fortunate to have been the first to test our new toy; apparently it's 110V, but the voltage in the lounge is 220V, and that explains why I was shot across the room like a cannon and chipped a tooth. Lesson learned, inverter installed, and now you all can safely enjoy some electric VIP massage action. I can't thank you all enough for your support of our little Hive community, and I hope the lounge continues to grow as we grow, now let's look at some awesome posts from each of our VIP tiers........

The beauty salon really screwed up my dog's haircut

^{(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ)} If it was left up to my dog, Nadi, she would never get haircuts. As a non-shedding breed this is something that absolutely must happen after a certain amount of time though else she will be wearing fur mittens on her legs covered in hair that will never fall out. Having a non-shedding dog has a lot of benefits such as not having hair all over your house / apartment, but the downside is that regular haircuts are a necessity.

^{(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ)} After living quite so long here , i just know that the temple in Penampang which is around 30 minutes drive from my house (if not in traffic jammed) was named Temple Tai Pak Kong. Temple Tai Pak Kong was located at the town which is very different than the Peak Nam Toong Temple which is hidden at housing area. While Penampang town or district was crowded with people and car , the temple give their parking space for public with some payment or donation.

Flooding is the most serious threat in my neighborhood

^{(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ)} I live in a housing area where the water from the sewer overflows in the rainy season. The small lake will be full after heavy rain. Yesterday, it rained for almost two hours, and the water from the sewer spilled onto the streets. One of the biggest problems is that the development does not care about drainage or the last water disposal in the rainy season. The local government covered half the area of the lake with land and built a school on the site. The green area on the lake's edge has been converted into food counters.

^{(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ)} The grand event was started with the orchestra. They have played here Christmas songs that can lift up spirits. I even enjoyed the classic 'kumukutikutitap'. The Christmas medley filled the air. Its an early celebration here on the city. It looks vibrant, and merry. Christmas lights at night are starting to shine in every corner. Can you feel the difference compare to the other year? Its different. This time, it feels like its back again and its getting better I believe. People are eager to celebrate and to get out.
