Best Water Archon Monster || Prophet Rosa with Two Powerful Abilities
In Splinterlands, Archon plays a very important role in your team. It acts as the leader and guides your units by giving them different powers and abilities. Around 50% of your success in a battle depends on choosing the right Archon.
Selecting the right archon according to the ruleset and then selecting the rest of the units will secure 100% of your win
Just like a goalkeeper role is important in any football match that secure 50% of the win, the same is the case here, an Archon is equally important in Splinterlands battles. That is why you should always choose your Archon monster carefully to maximize your chances of victory.
It is also important to understand the difference between an Archon and a normal unit. Unlike regular monsters that have attack, range, armor and health, an Archon focuses on providing special abilities. These abilities are not available to the Archon itself but can be transferred to allied units making the entire team stronger.
Today I am going to talk about an excellent Archon called Prophet Rosa. It belongs to the Water element and costs only 5 mana that makes it a very flexible choice for almost any battle. Because of its low mana cost you can easily select this monster in every type of battle.
Talking its visual appearance, it looks like a female cow wearing battle armor. It has two large horns and metal bands around its head and legs... It carries a drum in one hand and a drumstick in the other words It appears to be motivating its allied units with the sound of its drum and inspiring them before battle.
As mentioned earlier Archons do not have the same combat powers as regular monsters but they provide powerful abilities. Prophet Rosa has two important abilities such +2 Ranged and Shield. You can activate one of these abilities to support your allied units.
+2 RANGED
If you activate the +2 Ranged ability then two of your ranged attackers receive an additional +2 ranged attack.
For example if you have three ranged monsters on your team, two of them will receive this bonus. If one of those monsters normally has 2 ranged attack it will increase to 4, allowing it to deal much heavier damage to enemy units.
It is very important to understand, when to activate this ability. If the ruleset favors ranged attackers then you should build a team with more ranged monsters and activate the +2 Ranged ability.
This allows your strongest ranged units to take full advantage of the ruleset and deal much more damage.
SHIELD
The second ability is Shield which provides extra protection. When activated, one allied unit receives a 50% Shield effect. This means any incoming damage is reduced by half...
If an enemy attacks with four power then only two damage is applied while the remaining two damage is blocked by the Shield.
You should activate the Shield ability when the battle includes powerful melee attackers or heavy damage dealers... It works especially well on your main tank because it helps the tank survive much longer. A stronger tank can continue protecting the rest of your team while your other monsters deal damage safely...
You can activate only one of these two abilities during battle and the best choice depends on your strategy and the battle ruleset.
PRICE AND RENTING
Now let's talk about the Price and Renting section.
If you want to buy this Archon a level 1 card costs around $0.24 which is very affordable. Almost every player can add a level 1 copy to their deck.
If you want the fully upgraded level 8, it costs around $30. As the card levels up its abilities become stronger and more effective.
If you do not want to buy the card you can simply rent it. A level 1, it costs around 1 DEC per day while the fully upgraded costs around 79 to 80 DEC per day.
Renting is a great way to enjoy this powerful Archon and benefit from its excellent abilities without purchasing it outright.
