Welcoming the Persian new year!

One of the most important and joyful days observed by the Persian people throughout history. In Quetta, about 20% of the populace is Persian, and I am one of the Persians with a rich history and culture. The NOURUZ day was observed in my hometown on March 21st, but the celebration lasted one week.

CELEBRATING THE PERSIAN NEW YEAR (EID NOWRUZ)

This festival is mostly celebrated in Iran and Afghanistan because Persian is the mother tongue of their countries. People who migrated from these countries to other parts of the globe, however, also celebrate this day. Other countries, besides Persians, appear to be enjoying this festival and day.

This day is significant for all Persians because it marks the beginning of the new year and the arrival of the spring season. In our culture, as NEWROZ begins, spring rainfall begins, indicating that the weather has changed and the Persian New Year has come.

The arrangement of special and diverse ethnic foods is one of the highlights of Newroz day. Foods such as KULCHA, TIKI, RICE, CHICKEN, FRUITS, DRYFRUITS, TEA, KOCHA, MANTU, and others can be found in every Persian household. Persians used to cut cakes and eat sweet bakery products to celebrate the new year.

Another unique feature is that they believed that on this day, people should go outside and locate greenery. This means that seeing greenery on this day will bring you pleasure and prosperity for the coming year. You will have a prosperous new year, and all of your problems will be resolved.

There are also special prayers for this day that are performed by many Persians for a better future lifestyle. These are the major events that took place during the NEWROZ new year. As a Persian, I spent this special day with my family and acquaintances. Today's post contains images from two separate days, one of which was celebrated at home and the other on which I went out to enjoy nature.

THE FESTIVAL OF LIFE AND HAPPINESS ( TRIP TO NATURAL DAM AREA)

The first photos are from my house, where my family members came to celebrate the Persian new year with us. We prepared unique evening items for our visitors, as well as NEWROZ cultural foods. As you can see in the picture, there are different foods on the Cloth table. First, we cut the cake to commemorate the celebration, the renewal of life, and the hope for a brighter future.

The next day, I decided to take a family member to DAM city in my newly purchased Suzuki Bolan. The area is rich in natural beauty and greenery. As previously stated, at the start of each NEWROZ, rain begins and dark clouds dominate the sky. The situation was the same, and we noted the beginning of rain and the blowing of cold wind.

That day was bitterly chilly for us, but it was pleasant in the DAM. The primary benefit of my newly purchased car is that it has enough seating capacity for us to enjoy tea time inside the car. Because the weather was cold, I decided to keep my children inside the car to keep them safe from the cold winds and weather.

I have some lovely photos from the DAM on the day of EID NAWROZ. I really liked the beautiful natural views and the sip of milk tea, which is a must for me. I can't exist without milk tea, and it's an important part of our culture. Let's ring in the new year on the #HIVE platform with all of my friends. Let us hope for a brighter future in the coming year, and I know we all want to see the price of #hive rise above $2 😄😉

This is my attempt to show the NEWROZ celebrations to you and to reveal my culture on this day. A moment to celebrate and connect with loved ones, as well as the unity of all HIVE ecosystem users. I hope you enjoy the photography and reading; if so, please leave feedback in the comments area so that the next post can be even better. Thank you for sticking with me until the finish.
