Welcome to my blog where I'll share my winning battle with Defender of Truth.

Defender of Truth (EPIC Life Monster).

This is the monster that I had in my collection long ago and I thought it's a nice one. Then I got to know that it was not that helpful in lower levels so I sold it out. And now, I had to buy it again for the challenge. And now I think it's helpful in the lower level as well as it has sharp attack ability. For being a magic attack monster, this one can attack from any position which makes the magic attack monster the best on the battleground. And besides, the magic attack monster directly attacks the health ignoring the shield of the opponent monster.

A Brief Info About The Battle

The battle mana cap was 99 with the "Standard" rule where I've used the life splinter and my opponent used the death splinter against me.

My Lineup.

I had Shieldbearer with 2 melee attacks and "Taunt" ability at the 1st position, Luminous Eagle with 2 melee attacks and "Reach & Flying" abilities at the 2nd position, Sand Worm with5 melee attacks and "Sneak" ability at the 3rd position, Defender of Truth with a magic attack at the 4th position, Silvershield Sheriff with 3 ranged attacks and "Snipe" ability at the 5th position & Evangelist with 3 range attacks and "Snare" ability at the last position.

And my opponent had his/her cards as Bone Golem with 3 melee attacks and "Void" ability at the 1st position, Spineback Wolf with 1 melee attack and "Reach" ability at the 2nd position, Mantoid with 2 ranged attacks and "Snipe" ability at the 3rd position, Dark Astronomer with 2 melee attacks at the 4th position, Twisted Jester with 2 ranged attacks and "Snipe" ability at the 5th position & Undead Priest with "Weaken" ability at the last position.

Let me talk about monsters that I used in this battle.

No 01: SHIELDBEARER Rare Life Monster

It's about Shieldbearer, man. He is mighty, he is not scared of anyone and he is a brave soldier who fights for his team from the front side and who doesn't think twice before he needs to sacrifice himself for his team. Yeah, Shieldbearer is such a warrior with great powers.

Being a melee attacker, he attacks from the front side and defends his team. This warrior doesn't know how to lose the battle but he knows how to sacrifice himself for his team.

My Shieldbearer is in level 1 with 2 melee attacks, 2 speed, 4 shields & 9 health with "Taunt" ability and it needs 8 mana.

No 02: LUMINOUS EAGLE Rare Life Monster

I used Silvershield Warrior almost in every battle with life splinter because of its "reach" ability and then I've found out this amazing eagle with "reach" ability which I started using recently when I get extra mana cap battle as it needs 2 more mana than Silvershield Warrior although it has better powers.

With its "flying" ability in level 1, it can be so helpful in a battle with the "Earthquake" ruleset.

I've used LUMINOUS EAGLE is in level 1 with 2 melee attacks, 3 speed, 5 health with "Reach & Flying" ability and it needs 6 mana.

No 03: Sand Worm (Common Neutral Monster).

Sand Worm is that kind of worm that will attack with its big melee suddenly/sneakily and you might not even notice that the worm already ate one of your opponents. At least that's what I think of it nowadays after observing it on the battlefield for some days. With low health, this monster offers 5 melee attacks and if it doesn't die early then you're likely to get fantastic support from it on the battlefield.

I've used Sand Worm in level 1 with 5 melee attacks, 1 speed & 5 health with "Sneak" ability and it needs 9 mana.

No 04: DEFENDER OF TRUTH EPIC Life Monster

This is the monster that I had in my collection long ago and I thought it's a nice one. Then I got to know that it was not that helpful in lower levels so I sold it out. And now, I had to buy it again for the challenge. And now I think it's helpful in the lower level as well as it has sharp attack ability. For being a magic attack monster, this one can attack from any position which makes the magic attack monster the best on the battleground. And besides, the magic attack monster directly attacks the health ignoring the shield of the opponent monster.

Defender of Truth needs 4 mana for battle and I'm using this monster in level 1 with 1 magic attack, 3 speed, 1 shield & 3 health.

No 05: SILVERSHIELD SHERIFF RARE Life Monster

I still remember reviewing this card long before when I had found this card super helpful and powerful. Then I never stopped playing with it and I tried to use it in every battle with high mana cap battle when it's time to play with life splinter. For its ranged attack, it's best not to use it in the first place unless it's a battle with something special ruleset.

I've used SILVERSHIELD SHERIFF is in level 1 with 3 ranged attacks, 3 speed, 8 health with "Snipe" ability and it needs only 9 mana.

No 06: EVANGELIST (EPIC Life Monster)

Fans of DC's Arrow or DC universe would remember the character Black Canary after seeing the appearance of this character as Black Canary also has the power to scream in loud in order to attack enemies like this Evangelist shows in its appearance. This monster has a special ability in the beginning level which is "Snare" and that allows it to removes the flying ability of a monster with the flying ability and for the "Snare" ability, this monster can't miss its attack. I personally like this monster on the battlefield.

My EVANGELIST is in level 1 with 3 ranged attacks, 2 speeds, 5 health with "Snare" ability and it needs 6 mana to play.

For the special buff of my summoner, all my monsters got +1 shield each, and for the special buff of my opponent's summoner, all my melee monsters lost 1 melee attack each. Then for the special "Weaken" ability of the opponent's Undead Priest, all my monsters lost 1 health each.

Then... for being the most speed holder, my opponent's Spineback Wolf started the battle with the first attack and destroyed 1 shield of my Shieldbearer with the starting shot, then my Defender of Truth attacked the opponent's Bone Golem and the opponent monster prevented the attack with it's "Void" ability that reduces damage from magic attacks. Then my Silvershield Sheriff attacked and killed 3 health of the opponent's Mantoid with a single shot and then the opponent's Twisted Jester attacked and destroyed 2 more shields of my Shieldbearer. Then my Luminous Eagle and Evangelist, one after another attacked and destroyed the whole shield of the opponent's Bone Golem. Then the opponent's Mantoid attacked and destroyed the rest of the shield of my Shieldbearer. Then after my Shieledbearer attacked and killed 1 health of the opponent's Bone Golem, the opponent's Dark Astronomer, and Bone Golem then one after another attacked and killed a total of 5 health of my Shieldbearer. Then my Sand Worm threw its big melee towards the opponent's Undead Priest and the opponent monster had to leave the battlefield immediately after this shot and my monsters that lost 1 health each for the "Weaken" ability of the opponent's Undead Priest, got the health back after the opponent monster left the battlefield.

There came a new round where the opponent's Spineback Wolf this time attacked and killed 1 health of my Shieldbearer first and then my Defender of Truth attacked the opponent's Bone Golem again and the opponent monster prevented the attack again with the help of its "Void" ability. Then my Silvershield Sheriff threw its ranged attack towards the opponent's Mantoid and the opponent monster had to leave the battlefield. Then the opponent's Twisted Jester attacked and killed 2 more health of my Shieldbearer. And then together my Luminous Eagle, Evangelist, and Shieldbearer attacked one after another and killed the opponent's Bone Golem for good and the opponent's Spineback Wolf then came forward to the first position. Then the opponent's Dark Astronomer attacked and killed my Shieldbearer for good which was the first death from my team and then my Luminous Eagle came forward to the first position. Then my Sand Worm threw its big melee attack towards the opponent's Twisted Jester at the end of the current round and mysteriously missed the shot.

There came a brand new round and the opponent's Spineback Wolf again had the first shot at the beginning of the round and destroyed the shield that my Luminous Eagle had. Then my Defender of Truth attacked and killed 1 health of the opponent's Spineback Wolf; hooray, my Defender of Truth didn't miss this time. Then my Silvershield Sheriff attacked and killed 3 health of the opponent's Dark Astronomer out of 4. Then the opponent's Twisted Jester attacked and destroyed the whole shield of my Defender of Truth. And now after my Luminous Eagle attacked and destroyed the remaining shield of the opponent's Spineback Wolf, my Evangelist then attacked and killed the opponent's Spineback Wolf for good and the opponent's Dark Astronomer came forward to the first position and became unable to attack for being a ranged attacker at the first position which means my opponent had only one monster that could attack at that moment and that moment vanished in a second when my Sand Worm attacked and killed the opponent's Twisted Jester for good. There came the final round when the opponent had only one monster without any attack power. My Defender of Truth, yeah, the theme card of the weekly battle challenge of the current week attacked the opponent's last monster with only 1 magic attack and the opponent team had to leave the battlefield and the victory came to me.

The battle finished in round 4 while my team had 5 monsters alive. All my monsters did great on the battlefield.
