Splinterlands Battle | Gargoya Lion.

Welcome to my blog where I'll share my winning battle with Gargoya Lion.

Gargoya Lion (COMMON Neutral Monster).

The new gargoya creatures have all developed distinct personalities and gone separate ways. Many of them cannot be controlled by any authority, but others among them are natural leaders. The one with the most commanding presence is the Gargoya Lion that used to perch just above the tower’s drawbridge as a guardian. Not only is the lion the largest of the gargoya race, but he appears to be the strongest as well. The fight against the Chaos Legion has called him to Praetoria, where he now waits with a small band of gargoya followers.

A Brief Info About The Battle

The battle mana cap was 27 with the "Standard" rule where I've used the fire splinter and my opponent used the life splinter against me.

My Lineup.

I had Gargoya Lion with a melee attack and "Flying" ability at the 1st position, Fineas Rage with 2 melee attack "Reach" ability at the 2nd position, Sand Worm with a big melee attack and "Sneak" ability at the 3rd position, Prismatic Energy with a magic attack and "Magic Reflect" ability at the 4th position, Efreet Elder with a magic attack and "Last Stand" ability at the 5th position & Ettin Spearman with 3 ranged attack at the last position.

And my opponent had his/her cards as Shieldbearer with 2 melee attacks and "Tant" ability at the 1st position; Luminous Eagle with 2 melee attacks, and "Reach & Flying" abilities at the 2nd position; Silvershield Knight with a melee attack and "Inspire" ability at the 3rd position; Cave Slug with 2 melee attacks and "Opportunity" ability at the 4th position, Feral Spirit with a melee attack and "Sneak" ability at the 5th position & Peacebringer with 2 ranged attack at the last position.

Let me talk about monsters that I used in this battle.

No 01: Gargoya Lion (COMMON Neutral Monster)

The new gargoya creatures have all developed distinct personalities and gone separate ways. Many of them cannot be controlled by any authority, but others among them are natural leaders. The one with the most commanding presence is the Gargoya Lion that used to perch just above the tower’s drawbridge as a guardian. Not only is the lion the largest of the gargoya race, but he appears to be the strongest as well. The fight against the Chaos Legion has called him to Praetoria, where he now waits with a small band of gargoya followers.

I've used the Gargoya Lion in level 1 on the battlefield with 1 melee attack, 1 speed, 2 shields & 6 health with the "Flying" ability, and it needs 6 mana to join a battle.

No 02: FINEAS RAGE (RARE Fire Monster)

I used to like Giant Orc for "reach" ability till I've found out about Fineas Rage.
When you find a high mana clip battle and you decide to play with the fire splinter, Fineas Rage should be in the second position without further ado.

I used my Fineas Rage is in level 1 with 2 melee attacks, 5 speed & 8 health with "Reach" ability, and it needs 7 mana to battle.

No 03: Sand Worm (Common Neutral Monster).

Sand Worm is that kind of worm that will attack with its big melee suddenly/sneakily and you might not even notice that the worm already ate one of your opponents. At least that's what I think of it nowadays after observing it on the battlefield for some days. With low health, this monster offers 5 melee attacks and if it doesn't die early then you're likely to get fantastic support from it on the battlefield.

I've used Sand Worm in level 1 with 5 melee attacks, 1 speed & 5 health with "Sneak" ability and it needs 9 mana.

No 04: Prismatic Energy (Rare Neutral Monster)

If you're looking for a very nice and cool monster in neutral splinter with some cool power then I'd suggest Prismatic Energy for that. This monster can get very handy for its big health and especially the magic reflect ability.

I've used Prismatic Energy in level 1 with 1 magic attack, 3 speed, 9 health with the "Magic Reflect" ability and it needs 8 mana for the battle.

Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market if you wish to.

No 05: Efreet Elder (RARE Fire Monster)

I might've never known the real and extendable power that it gets from the "Last Stand" ability but fortunately, I got to know about it from a battle. He is really a one-man army when there is no one left on the team.

I've used this monster in level 1 on the battlefield with 1 magic attack, 3 speed & 8 health with the "Last Stand" ability, and it needs 6 mana to join a battle.

Go on check out this card from Splinterlands Market if you wish to.

No 06: ETTIN SPEARMAN (COMMON Fire Monster)

Ettin Spearman is a nice warrior with a big spear and double heads. Its look is so fearsome and it's so powerful on the battlefield and I like to use it when I play with the fire splinter with a big mana cap.

I used Ettin Spearman in level 1 with 1 ranged attack, 1 speed & 2 health and it needs 6 mana to battle.

For the special buff of my summoner, 3 of my monsters got +1 melee attack each, and for the special buff of my opponent's summoner, all the opponent monsters got +1 shield each. Then for the special "Inspire" ability of the opponent's Silvershield Knight, all the melee monsters of the opponent got +1 melee attack each.

Then... for being the most speed holder, my Fineas Rage started the battle with the first attack and destroyed 3 shields of the opponent's Shieldbearer with the starting shot, and then the opponent's Feral Spirit attacked and killed 2 health of my Ettin Spearman. Then my Efreet Elder and Prismatic Energy together one after another attacked and killed a total of 2 health of the opponent's Shieldbearer. Then the opponent's Peacebringer attacked and destroyed the whole shield of my Gargoya Lion and then the opponent's Luminous Eagle attacked and killed 3 health of my Gargoya Lion. Then the opponent's Shieldbearer attacked my Gargoya Lion but missed the shot as my Gargoya Lion had the "Flying" ability and my Gargoya Lion was lucky that it could prevent that attack otherwise the lion would have to leave the battlefield. Then my Ettin Spearman attacked and destroyed the whole shield of the opponent's Shieldbearer. Then the opponent's Cave Slug attacked my Gargoya Lion but missed the shot as my Gargoya Lion had the "Flying" ability. Then first my Sand Worm and then my Gargoya Lion one after another attacked and killed the opponent's Shieldbearer for good and then the opponent's Luminous Eagle came forward to the first position.

There came a new round where my Fineas Rage first attacked and destroyed the shield of the opponent's Luminous Eagle. Then the opponent's Feral Spirit attacked and killed 2 health of my Ettin Spearman. Then my Prismatic Energy and Efreet Elder together one after another attacked and killed a total of 2 health of the opponent's Luminous Eagle. Then the opponent's Peacebringer attacked my Gargoya Lion and missed the shot but after that, the opponent's Luminous Eagle attacked my Gargoya Lion with the big melee attack and my Gargoya Lion had to leave the battlefield and my Fineas Rage came forward to the first position. Then to avenge the death of my Gargoya Lion, my Ettin Spearman attacked and killed the opponent's Luminous Eagle for good and the opponent's Silvershield Knight then came forward to the first position. Then the opponent's Cave Slug attacked and killed 3 health o my Ettin Spearman. Then my Sand Worm threw its big 6 melee attack towards the opponent's Peacebringer but only 1 shield was destroyed so it was a big waste.

There came another new round and my Fineas Rage attacked and destroyed the whole shield of the opponent's Silvershield Knight. Then the opponent's Silvershield Knight attacked and killed 2 health of my Fineas Rage. And then the opponent's Feral Spirit attacked and killed my Ettin Spearman for good. Then first my Efreet Elder and then my Prismatic Energy attacked and killed a total of 2 health of the opponent's Silvershield Knight. Then the opponent's Peacebringer attacked and killed two health of my Fineas Rage. Then my Sand Worm attacked the opponent's Peacebringer and missed the shot unfortunately but I still don't know how Peacebringer was preventing the attacks of my Sand Worm. And then the opponent's Cave Slug also missed the shot on my Fineas Rage and I don't know about this missed shot as well.

There came another new round where at first my Fineas Rage attacked and killed the opponent's Silvershield Knight for good and the opponent's Cave Slug then came forward to the first position and all the melee monsters of the opponent lost the extra melee attack that they got for the "Inspire" ability of the opponent's dead Silvershield Knight. Then after the opponent's Feral Spirit attacked and killed 1 health of my Efreet Elder, then together my Efreet Elder and Prismatic Energy one after another attacked and killed a total of 2 health of the opponent's Cave Slug. Then the opponent's Peacebringer attacked and killed 2 health of my Fineas Rage. Then I don't know why my Sand Worm again missed the big melee attack on the opponent's Peacebringer. But this time the opponent's Cave Slug didn't miss its attack and killed my Fineas Rage for good and my Sand Worm had to come forward to the first position.

There came another new round where the opponent's Feral Spirit first attacked and killed 1 health of my Efreet Elder and then together my Efreet Elder and Prismatic Energy one after another attacked and killed the opponent's Cave Slug for good this time and the opponent's Feral Spirit then came forward to the first position. The opponent's Peacebringer attacked and killed 2 health of my Sand Worm and then my Sand Worm attacked the opponent's Feral Spirit with 6 melee attacks but that attack destroyed only 1 shield. There came another new round where the opponent's Feral Spirit now attacked and killed 1 health of my Sand Worm out of 3 health. Then first my Prismatic Energy and then my Efreet Elder one after another attacked and killed the opponent's Feral Spirit for good and then the only opponent monster Peacebringer came forward to the first position and became unable to attack for being a ranged attacker at the first position. Then my Sand Worm threw its big 6 melee attack towards the opponent's Peacebringer and didn't miss this time, so the opponent team had to leave the battlefield after all.

The battle finished in round 6 while my team had 3 monsters alive. All my monsters did great on the battlefield.
