Después de varios años, visite la primera Academia en donde me comencé a formar como Bailarina💃🏽💕🥰 [ESP-ENG]

¡Bienvenidos a mi blog gente bonita, espero se encuentren muy bien! Hace unos días, tuve la oportunidad de visitar el lugar en donde comenzó mi carrera y vida como bailarina hace 15 años, y fue lleno de alegría y de revivir mucho recuerdos, porque justo se aprovecho de sacar contenido para un proyecto muy bonito y especial, relacionado a mi y el baile que está haciendo mi papa, que quizás se comparta por aquí en su momento. Pero hoy en particular voy a contarles un poco de como fue esa visita a la primera academia de baile en la que estuve.

A few days ago, I had the opportunity to visit the place where my career and life as a dancer began 15 years ago, and it was full of joy and relive many memories, because just took the opportunity to take content for a very nice and special project, related to me and the dance that my dad is doing, which may be shared here in due course. But today in particular I am going to tell you a little of how it was that visit to the first dance academy in which I was.

Mery Cortez Academia Integral fue mi primera casa de formación por nueve años consecutivos. Comencé a bailar a la edad de 4 años, y gracias a que asistí en ese entonces a un evento de una prima que ya estaba en la academia antes que yo, decidí por completo, a temprana edad, que yo quería eso (el baile) para mí mí que quería estar en esa academia, y pues así fue.

No pasó mucho tiempo luego de eso cuando me inscribieron en la academia, y pues comencé bastante contenta desde Capullo (el nivel para las niñas de ese rango de edad). Comencé recuerdo teniendo tres días de clase a la semana, veía sobre todo Ballet, Urbano y Danza Nacionalista... llegó un punto en que a mí familia se le estaba haciendo muy complicado costearme la academia y pensaron en retirarme, de hecho lo iban a hacer, ya mi papá había hablado que no iba a poder seguir, pero ese día la hija de Mery Cortez, que es gran amiga de mi abuela, es una tía para mi (a Mery también siempre la he tratado como familia igual) le dijo a mi papa que me habían dado una beca... y pues así pude continuar formándome allí, siempre juiciosa, disciplinada y con cariño y respeto siempre.

De verdad haber visitado la academia en la que estuve por mucho tiempo fue lindo, recordé varios ensayos, clases, pude incluso ver a compañeras que tenía en ese entonces y aún siguen allí, en sí fue bastante agradable. Además que para el proyecto que les mencioné, se le hizo una entrevista a Mery y escuchar como fue su historia como coreografa y bailarina (ya que dentro de los medios de comunicación en Venezuela ella fue y es una referencia, fue coreografa de Venevisión por muchos años) fue significativo y bastante motivador, cosas que yo no sabía con tan detalle y que pues me hicieron sentir inspirada e incluso reconocer muchas cosas mías actualmente como bailarina e instructora y coreografa también...

Mery Cortez Academia Integral was my first training home for nine consecutive years. I started dancing at the age of 4 years old, and thanks to the fact that I attended an event of a cousin who was already in the academy before me, I decided completely, at an early age, that I wanted that (dance) for me that I wanted to be in that academy, and so it was.

It wasn't long after that when I was enrolled in the academy, and I started quite happily from Capullo (the level for girls of that age range). I started remember having three days of class a week, I saw mostly Ballet, Urban and Nationalist Dance.... It got to a point where my family was making it very difficult to pay for the academy and they thought about withdrawing me, in fact they were going to do it, my dad had already said that he would not be able to continue, but that day the daughter of Mery Cortez, who is a great friend of my grandmother, is an aunt to me (I have always treated Mery as family too) told my dad that they had given me a scholarship ... and so I could continue training there, always judicious, disciplined and always with love and respect.

It was really nice to have visited the academy where I was for a long time, I remembered several rehearsals, classes, I could even see my classmates that I had at that time and are still there, it was really nice. Besides that for the project I mentioned, Mery was interviewed and to listen to her story as a choreographer and dancer (since within the media in Venezuela she was and is a reference, she was a choreographer for Venevision for many years) was significant and quite motivating, things that I did not know in such detail and that made me feel inspired and even recognize many things of mine now as a dancer and instructor and choreographer too...

Me hicieron una invitación para ver el evento que siempre realizan en diciembre, y la verdad es que sí iré porque sería lindo ver presentaciones, también serviría como inspiración y forma de recordar cosas bonitas. Así que en su momento, claro que lo compartiría por aquí jeje.

Y nada gentecita, esto ha sido todo, de verdad les digo que yo no retire de esa academia en Buenos términos, pero ya ha pasado tiempo, dentro de mi no hay ningún tipo de resentimiento, hacia Mery tampoco hay nada personal negativo, así que me sentí tranquila yendo a verla y saludarla. No tome muchas fotos, sobre todo del salón, me faltó tomar algunas, pero les quise dejar fotos y recuerdos que tengo allí, jeje. Gracias por llegar hasta este punto, nos vemos pronto, bye bye💕🙌🏼.

And nothing little people, this has been all, I really tell you that I did not withdraw from that academy in good terms, but it's been a while, inside me there is no resentment, towards Mery there is nothing negative personal, so I felt calm going to see her and greet her. I didn't take many pictures, especially of the salon, I missed taking some, but I wanted to leave pictures and memories that I have there, hehe.
