Interview is more of designed or placed for viewing a candidate how he could perform a given task by intellectuality and merit. Its not primarily to see a man is confident or not or showing to look like be.

For a candidate he can learn a lot of skills, but still he should have a proficiency and mind training level that could help to complete tasks and help an institution grow.

But what you said about it, I think thats right in some sense, but also more of it other factors I mentioned are key things that matter alongside confidence knowledge and skills.

Yeah i am not saying we measure confidence or something similar. Just that overconfidence only leads to bad results. Also, that everyone needs to have some kind of confidence during an interview, confidence in himself and in terms of his skills. Especially, in small business of let's say 1-10 people, the Business owners who conduct the interview as well, take advantage of people that lack confident and underpay them for example. Someone confident can manage to find a job with better terms than someone who lacks confidence! On everything else that you said i totally agree!
