The Last Ride - Will The End Be Well?

Hello Sportstalk,

Its been quite a months time of my pause in the sports blog, yet I was busy in finding the best moves and the hype that is created by the ensuing tournament, the biggest blockbuster in the sports genre, the world cup just a month away. So, its quite understandable that the most of the writing would revolve around football, and since I am a big enthusiast in this game, then its not overstated if I say I have all the ears and excitement to be a well wisher for my team.

Source

Recently, UCL had flowed a tight clash and PSG could secure a 1-1 draw against Benfica. I dont like to watch these games grossly all over the years and since I am not a crazy avid fan, just a few hours allocation to have a grasp over the highlights of the missed games satisfy my thirst. Messi couldnt play a full time and all over the park and stadium, down to the fan club - those of us who support Messi so much have raised questions of the coaches solidity to be in such a team of high calibre.

These days, before going to attend the biggest stage, where every move and every bit of stamina and rhythm plays a lot and contribute to the teams overall performance, avoiding unexpected injuries and fitness testing is all what a player needs to maintain before giving it everything in the battles for controlling the ball and scoring for the team to win. Messi is a key player and like everyone I also believe quite a few years more he has the ability to play on the pitch and age is a big factor for football -- this moment what he needs is to have a sound rest before joining in the National side for final camping.

The coach is paradoxically smart and there is nothing to give to PSG for Messi it is just giving a certain attempt to be physically fit for the National side. I feel so reserved when I see such a big player had a anti climax when he left Barca, the team which witnessed a glorious past under the reign of Messi, those moments which reared up Messi from an ordinary player to a legend who shone as the brightest light that sparked as flames, flew as the wings of fire that created a new era of playing football. But, the fan all around the world didnt have the demarcation point, that Messi & Barca arent the same.

Source

Yet, the moment when I saw Messi leaving Barca and signed in to come to PSG, he refused to take the number 10 jersey and thats out of a lurked sentiment, he never wanted to assimilate Barca with the PSG. What was going inside his mind is the fact that, there is literally nothing to give to Barca and he won everything that player can do, winning the treble quite a pair of times, individual flourishing of trophies and league cups one after another. But, people started to show fingers that Messi wont be enrolled among the greats, if he fails to secure a major trophy for his national side.

And we all know what it happened so far after successive defeats one after another, the tragedies that has been made and the reality was such a hard concept that the dramatization has become so naive compared to what he went through - at the time of losing the copa one after another, being so close to winning and missing final shots at the tie break, the aimless decision to leave the national jersey forever and the whole media and the fans went after protesting in the streets of Buens Eires, all across Europe and the South Asian Region.

Still, he came back well and that was much of a struggle for being back at the form again, rather doing whats best for gaining the rhythm and motivation, the mental strength and gear to play for the sky blues and the white jersey once more again, the jersey which he loved more than anything else in life. Sometimes in our life, dreams that we cherish to have a fruition in our life - begin to go away and we go after one by one- failures as if, there would be no chance of winning at all!!

For Robert Bruce it was the same defeat against Scotland, until the sixth attempt came as victorious. Messi is no exception to that fact and all the moons and sunshines were there to fold another chance of play at the copa title and lately we all knew how Di Maria's goal made him win at last against the mighty Brazil. Tears flew so far and ecstasy was there holding the trophy, agony turned to jubilation -- and only feelings can say how was the moment back then.

Yet, today just a few days of await for the coming tournament . I think, the Qatar world cup should write a history, plain and simple, naive and majestic, royal and beautiful, historic and legendary, epic and ephemeral, longer lasting and heart breaking, or anything else that would last forever. But I think, those of us here reading my write, watching soccer for two decades of time, starting from the days and moments when it was the early childhood days and school going and playing in the field with dirts and soaked socks with the muds of the midfield region, the rainy weather, its a dream to see the legend finishes with the greatest acquisition as a soccer player.

I just hope that this time he plays well and I have full firm faith for Argentina, the team under Scaloni showed a terrific performance, the determination in the attacking midfield, strong defense line and the tactical setup and the strong presence are something I saw in Scaloni's coaching and its just my prediction that this time, Argentina wont come back and halt the battle without a tight fight. Whatever the threats arise from the European speedy football or counter attack speciality - this team has all the immunity and antidote, lets see how they play on real time.

Thanks For Reading,Be Blessed.

I think because it’s the last World Cup for our idols we expect their countries to do a lot for them to go far in this tournament. I have my doubts on the big teams in this competition, well before a competition starts we always have favourites and an underdog must upset the biggest of biggest opponents.

Qatar will be exciting bro. I can’t wait for it🤞

Yeah, when it is a battle in biggest stage, then surely the other opponents and giants are there to oppose, but whatever lets hope for the best. One sense, giant killers are there to create mishap, yet without such low strength teams, wc would lose the magic and excitement.

If Argentina wins or loses, that doesnt matter in the end, but what happens on the match time, thats what needed to see. Thanks for having the same support.
Have a nice day.

I felt sad when Messi said Qatar 2022 will be his last world cup for Argentina, the time for his retirement is approaching, and I am not yet ready to say goodbye. All I wish for is for Argentina to win the world cup and I hope they do, Messi will always remain a big part of football history.

Hmm. Of course, more than 70% of football fans do want the same as us, but retirement is a fact that needs to be properly learnt as that, its a matter of age and physicality, most of the players start to lose their grip on body & performance and thats why they unable to play.

But, I think Messi doesnt have the issue as to incapabilities to play, but he is still as agile as when he was 28, but age is just a number ha ha..
I hope, he continues after the tour and plays for National side least.

Thanks for such emotive concern, be blessed,❤️

Whatever happens in Qatar, Messi will always remain the most spectacular dude to ever play the lovely game. He will be talked about long after every living person right now has passed. He is timeless!

Ah,thats a history made along the way, football has a beauty, and we got to know that watching Messi's feet dribbling the ball on the pitch.

He is timeless!

I would take this as a great quote, specially for the wonderful perception and view over a truth, he is absolutely timeless, 👍

Wish that this world cup finds your convenient time to enjoy..

Lionel Messi is one of my favorite players, although I am a Brazilian supporter. But I always like Messi's games very much. I am especially a fan of his free kicks. After Messi's coming to PSG, I passed many sleepless nights watching Messi Neymar combination. It's good to see them both playing together. Both colored my childhood with their amazing foot magic.

I want Messi to win the World Cup in Qatar this year. If this one trophy could complete his career, why wouldn't he win it? May his last moments be beautiful.

Oh,the sweet tone of solidarity, the confluence in the different stream is awesome and when recognition is delivered to the person who deserves it, then peace is retained with it.
Sometimes I think, its the magic of such persona that unites the chasm, despite having strong rivalry and dispute, contentions -- in the end, everyone gets back at their sweet song of harmony...
Thats beautiful..

I know, you are an avid fan, but still I would wish the full to have a good chance to watch the world cup, who knows? What is left there to witness? Maybe, we would see legends depart with the most ecstatic ending.

Be blessed, 👍❤️💖

I find it hard to take or comprehend. I grew up watching Messi play and i never thought a day will come when he will hang the boot, though i know it's inevitable , i was hoping it's still far off.

Watching his interview and hearing him say this is his last worldcup brought tears to my eyes. I surely want him and Argentina to win this, it will be a great way to sign out.

Nobody lasts eternally ,retirement is something that is the fate of every player and professionals, but for some reason its really the fact that - those of us grew up watching him play would be hard to see him hanging his boot forever.

But, still the truth is truth ultimately..
Have a nice day,👍
