Salty Science and Sweet Memes— Edition 2

Hello StemSocial Community! Welcome to my blog. Today I have decided again to share another episode of Salty Scenic and Sweet Memes. Memes are always my best tool to share creativity on Hive Blockchain. This episode has some general Science concepts as well as Ideas that I learned from my school science. Still, I'm learning about it and I'm spreading these pieces of beautiful information in the form of memes. So let us enjoy these memes.

Inj of Vit K Activity

Usually, when an injured person is brought to in hospital the doctor prescribes Vit K for the patient if the bleeding is fast. Vit K helped in blood coagulation. Our blood has a protein named Prothrombin that needs Vit K for blood coagulation. After blood coagulation, one seal is formed at the injured site, and blood oozing stops.

Vaccine

Vaccines are the weak, alive, or attenuated Germs that help our body to produce antibodies in response. These antibodies then help our body to produce immunity for a protected future for the disease whose Germs were used. Sometimes, we directly inject antibodies to increase the strength of the current immunity.

Overeating Is Injurious

At parties, celebrations and at big events people like to eat a lot. When more amount of food is taken into our tummy than Normal routine then the stomach and other organs have to function along. During their activities, more secretions cause burning in the stomach which feels like abdominal discomfort. Hence, we should avoid overeating to save our stomachs from Abdominal Cramps.

Mitochondria

It is the Power House for the cells. It generates energy by burning Glucose like fuel. The complete burning process needs oxygen. If oxygen is not available then after Glycolysis pyruvic acid either changes into Alcohol or Lactic Acid. In both cases, mitochondria do not work and less amount of energy is formed as pyruvic acid didn't enter into Mitochondria.

Bones in Adult and Born Babies

When a baby is born, it has 300 bones according to Osteology. Some bones are immature and need more ossification. Hence when a baby grows into a young kid his different bones diffuse into each other to give rise to 206 bones.

Pressurized Situation

Whenever we are under stress or we are feeling extra pressure then our body releases stress hormones like Adrenaline or Epinephrine. These stress hormones activate Sympathetic Nervous System that prepares our body for emergency conditions. In this emergency condition, our pupils dilate and our heartbeat becomes fast.

Lungs

Lungs are the organs that are responsible for Gaseous Exchange in our body. During Inhalation, O2 with other gases enters into our lungs and they expand in size while when we exhale then CO2 is released from the lungs and they reduce in size.

Pakistan is in threat for another Pandemic

First, it was Dengue that affected the whole population in Pakistan and severe casualties were reported. Second, it was Corona that attacked normal people and many people were found dead. Now, I have heard about Monkey Pox which is affecting the young and adult populations a lot. I hope things will be better in the future.
