Crafting the Perfect DIY Eyeglasses Holders at Home

They are eyeglasses holders. I made two types of eyeglasses holders. One is an owl shape and the other is a flower shape. They are actually not too difficult to make. The flower shape is much simpler. The owl shape is made using cardboard and colored paper. But the flower shape is made by painting on the cardboard. I have never made eyeglasses holders like this before. The things you need to make them are cardboard, colored paper, watercolor, markers, scissors, glue, pencil and ruler. How to make these two different eyeglasses holders is explained step-by-step with both pictures and text.

I made the owl shape glasses holder first. I drew an owl shape on the cardboard and cut it out. I made the width of the owl's head the same as the length of the glasses. I glued the front surface of it with light green color paper. I painted the edges around it with brown color and added green dots. I painted the back side with green paper.

For the eyes, cut white, green and black circles. They are different sizes. Glued them together to make the eyes.

Rolled a piece of cardboard and glued it at the end. Wrapped this with light green paper again. I put it in the beak first. Cut a piece of purple paper as the shape of a beak and drew green dots around it. Glued this on the rolled piece of cardboard.

Made the legs using orange paper. Drew green dots around them too.

I continued making a paper bow. I drew a bow shape on pink paper and cut it out. I continued to paint with a red marker. After making the bow, I glued it on the owl.

The wings are purple. I cut two wings of the same size and drew dots around them. I cut a green heart and painted small green circles on it. I glued this too.

I made the stand using paper and cardboard. I wrapped the cardboard piece with orange paper and glued it. I folded it and glued the edges again. I glued this to the back of the glasses holder.

For the next one, drew a flower on the cardboard. Painted the front side. Painted the back side with black color.

The stand used in this one is different from the first one. For this one, you need to cut two pieces of cardboard. After cutting them, painted them with black color. Made the same cuts in their center. Attached these two as shown. This will be the stand on the back of the flower cardboard.

Made a roll of cardboard to put in the middle of the flower. For this one, cut a piece of cardboard and rolled it and glued it at the end. Cut a circular piece of paper and attached it to the rolled cardboard. Glued this in the middle of the flower and painted it with red color. The steps for making this flower eyeglasses holder are not too many. It would be nice if you didn't paint it but glued it with paper. I tried to make the owl shape with paper so that the flower shape was different from the first one.
