Origami Paper Pen Box

I fold a paper pen box today. The whole thing is made by folding the paper. There are many steps to fold for it. I fold the box and decorate it with four flowers and leaves. The flowers are not difficult to make. They are made with four small pieces of paper of the same size. For leaves, also have to cut wavy shape around their edges. I make them with yellow paper. It's not very natural, but I want it to be more beautiful. I need two folds of paper to make a box.

Needed materials

colored paper
glue
scissors
cardboard
pencil
ruler

In the first step, cut the purple paper by the same length and width with 21cm. Fold each half four times.Fold the two corners to the middle and fold them in half. Then fold the other side by the same way. Then fold the two sides to the middle as shown. I also fold the corners as shown. And fold some of them inward. I also fold the other side by the same way. In the next step, I fold the two sides to the middle again, and fold one of the corners as shown. Spread this fold of paper to be a box shape.Glue where necessary.

I cut the red paper square shape with 16cm . Fold the paper in half four times. Fold the four corners to the center point. Fold the two sides to the middle line of this paper. Fold the other side by the same way.Fold it step by step according to those folding lines until you get a box shape.Attach those two boxes together.

In this step, I cut the cardboard as a square shape and glue it with purple paper. I also cut the leaves and cut wavy shape around their edges. For the flowers, I cut red paper of the same size. I cut each one a little and glue them. I glue the leaves on the four corners of the cardboard. I make flowers with red petals. I glue the box in the middle of the cardboard.

I think this box is really beautiful with the simple flowers and leaves. I also take nice pictures after making it. Thank you so much for your reading my post to the end.
