Non-verbal language is very important, many experts claim that non-verbal language is over 50% of our communication. Non-verbal language is made up of many elements, including gestures and "symbols" that we create with our hands. It should be remembered that the same symbol has different meanings in different countries, so a nice, friendly or otherwise positive symbol in my country can mean the opposite in other places. A simple example is the gesture created by the clenched fist with the raised thumb, in European countries it can mean "ok" "ok" "excellent", but its meaning has an extremely positive value and this same approval, in other countries it means by itself . in itself it can mean that the gesture is read as the symbol of "hitchhiking" and asking for a ride, while in other countries it is an offense. With this work I wanted to focus on this "symbol" as the main subject, surrounded by many different elements that symbolize the various reactions and interpretations. Il linguaggio non verbale è importantissimo, molti esperti sostengo che il linguaggio non verbale è oltre il 50% della nostra comunicazione. Il linguaggio non verbale è composta da moltissimi elementi, tra questi anche la gestualità e i "simboli" che creiamo con le mani. Bisogna ricordarsi che lo stesso simbolo ha significati differenti in paesi differenti, quindi una simbolo piacevole, di amicizia o comunque positivo nel mio paese, può significare l'opposto in altri luoghi. Un semplice esempio è il gesto creato dal pugno chiuso con il pollice alzato, nei paesi Europei questo può significare "ok" "va bene" "ottimo" , il suo significato ha comunque una valenza estremamente positiva e di approvazione, in altri paesi questo stesso gesto viene letto come il simbolo per fare "autostop" e chiedere un passaggio, mentre in altri paesi è un'offesa. Con questa opera ho voluto mettere al centro come soggetto principale questo "simbolo" circondato da tanti elementi differenti che simboleggiano le varie reazione e chiavi di lettura.
