Of course, in the library we usually do useful activities to increase literacy, read some books or maybe get peace from 'the silence' in the library.

I remember, when I was at school I liked to go to the library to read some books, but in just 10 minutes, I fell asleep and then woke up to attend additional lessons at the end. For me, the library is full of books and quiet from people.

Different from this time, I added it to my itinerary while I was in Singapore and only had 1 day to explore this city. Really, Singapore is very small, but densely packed with lots of buildings, offices and shopping centers. There are many places you can go even if you have a short time, one of which is the library on Orchard Road. I will tell you about my experience in this aesthetic library.

This library, which is located in the center of Singapore, is a special attraction for tourists who only have limited time and also limited money. The Orchard library, which is on the 4th floor of Orchardgateway, has the solution. You will get great photos and it will also be the most aesthetic library you have ever seen.

Honestly, for me this library is the biggest, the most luxurious, the most aesthetic that I have ever visited. Do you know why? Because the libraries in my country don't attract attention, they tend to be old and not up to date, and the books they have are also very limited. Maybe that is the reason that literacy in our country is quite low, this factor makes Indonesian people tend to 'rarely read'. Even though the city where I live is included in the 5 big cities in Indonesia, so, I think our government must find a solution to educate its people.

Very different, this library is very interesting, very comfortable, and has even become a tourist destination. What? Are libraries an attraction for a country's foreign exchange? That's really awesome.

As usual, many people know about this aesthetic library, because of social media! Social media helps anything, even a place like this is packaged to be very attractive on social media and makes anyone who sees it very interested and then buys a plane ticket and flies to this place. Of course I'm not like that, I came here because I watched a Coldplay concert, I spent time before watching so that I wouldn't feel bored when I was at the hostel and just sitting around without doing anything.

Only 30 minutes from where I stay, a very decent cheap hostel in the Haji Lane area. You know, Singapore certainly has very expensive prices for hotels, especially if I was alone and it would cost me money. In fact, I was in Singapore for less than 24 hours, the next morning I had to return home and carry out my activities. Later I will tell you briefly about the hostel and the area near my hostel, it's really very interesting. But let me tell you a lot about the Orchard Library, I want you to feel the same one day and be able to come here like me.

Without paying for a ticket, without a pass and without showing ID, you can enter the Orchard Library as much as you like. But remember that this library is only open from 11.00am to 09.00pm. Because it is in a mall, from the ground floor to the 3rd floor you can shop as much as you like if you have a lot of money. but if you just want to relax and enjoy the time, going to the Orchard Library is also very good idea. You can even see the city of Singapore from several aesthetic angles here.

There are several chairs available in several corners and they will make you very comfortable. There is one right in front of the glass where you can see this city very beautifully. Indeed, Singapore is built of very tall and large buildings. Very modern city.

There are lots of books arranged on shelves that have very unique shapes. Like winding and without corners. This very interesting shape is a form of attention. There are good spots for taking photos and videos, like my photo below which was taken by a very kind stranger, I didn't even have time to ask his name, but he was very skilled at taking quite beautiful photos.

So, there is a very popular staircase here, there are several people queuing to take photos here. Luckily when it was my turn, there was no one else in line. So I was satisfied taking lots of photos.

I think you should come here, even if you don't like reading, but believe me, this place is really very interesting to be on your Instagram feed and make your followers interested and ask questions. It's still very little known, but this will go viral in the future.
