I want my first child to be a girl

Girls are annoying creatures no doubt, fragile, soft-spoken and glamour looking in terms of fashion sense…LOL but that's what makes them beautiful and special in every way. Having them in your company and family is on another level; they act as support, mother and care taker of the home. So they need to be treated right and carried like an egg even though they form like they are strong deep down they just need someone who can handle them.

For example, my sister is the silent one in the house and she can be jovial when she wants to be, she’s hardworking, but sometimes she can be short tempered and this has made me understand her to deal with her by just tell a joke or pamper her with sweet words because at the end of the day that’s what girls need, and no matter her angry she is, she always fall for it.

When I tell people that I want a female child as my first born, some look at me like am crazy and talk about legacy and I don’t really know what they see about this legacy stuff, about how a son can be the heir and take care of the home and business, keep the family line going and give options like girls are just more of taking care of the home and they will get married to another family to produce an heir in the heir race of another family.

One thing people fail to forget is girls can also do what a boy can do with the right guidance and trusting them to do it, sometimes they can even do better than expected most times. In fact some women hold powerful positions in the world and they do well better than some men. So I don’t really fancy the options or opinion when they start listing why a male son is better to have first. Well it’s all on God I understand, whatever God gives we take; it’s all in his will.

Sometimes when I go out, I envy some family or parent when I see how the father play with his daughter, feeding her ice cream, carrying her on his shoulders, especially when they gist. I just wish I can have that or be in their position but there’s nothing I can do than just blush and walk away and sometimes when I watch videos online seeing how little girls talk and play I just have a sweet feeling I can’t explain. No man can make a girl feel like a princess except for father. Girls are emotional and at such they relate to pitiable situation compared to men, they as softhearted, lovable but can get very cruel and hardhearted when hurt LOL. So don’t take their silence or calmness as weakness.

I want to teach my daughter everything she needs to know, about life, education, and men. I want to wear matching outfits with her; take her on a roller-coaster rides, be her best and closest friend, her confident and make sure she can rely and share her problems with me. I want to be her protector, supporter, be there when she needs listening ears, and fend for her every need so no man can intimidate or entice her.

With all this love and care, I don’t see where it will be difficult for her to lack anything and fall prey to anything in the outside world and if I end up not having a son at all why she can’t take over the business and be my heir.
