Pantera Capital Cashed out LUNA in Time Before The Demise

It’s common for traditional financial institutions to bail out an investment or company immediately after the company or business starts looking suspicious or facing trouble that they might not come back from or that involves a crash to save their capital or their money however, when it comes to the crypto industry it’s rare for that to happen especially when it involves bg hedge funds or any bank at all, it can’t happen.

However, it seems our dear Terra was the first for this to happen because of their recent demise. Pantera Capital who’s the major backer and supporter of the Terraform Labs has disclosed that more than half of their capital investment, let’s say 80% of it from LUNA before the crash happened, and they are glad they did because it would have been a huge loss to them also.

They said they didn’t just withdraw their investment once, but they did it gradually because they noticed that the crypto market was not stable for some time, so they started pulling their investment out little by little resulting in 80% of it before the crash could happen. One withdrawal was made in April last year when they withdrew 20% of their investment at a price of $25.

Despite their 80% withdrawal from the LUNA investment, Pantera had already made a huge profit of about $1.7 million profit and they had also made a seed round investment in January last year but the profit made is entirely different from that.
