Wanna grow up your asset? Just like to plant a Chinese Bamboo Tree. It takes time.
I have been officially start writing blog on here hive and build up my portfolio for nearly 3 years, during these 3 years I did make some crypto as reward by writing blog, but the monetizing is not the only thing that I pursuit to be honest.

During these 3 years, I developed a habit, or should say a hobby to write blog recording my daily life which is very good to myself, when I am alone at home while my wife is working, I enjoy to ready the blog I have wrote to review what I have experienced in the past. That’s the biggest benefit to me beside making money.
I tried to introduce many friends to join hive, some of them heard that I bought my wife a LV bag and I-phone on the blockchain social platform (well, no need to be shoes shiner, I am not only writing on hive but I ain’t going to promote the other platform, it’s unnecessary), most of them feel impressed to seeing I can make money for the bag and I-phone, or some fine dining.
At the beginning they are so enthusiastic to write, and started imagine how should they spend money that earning on hive or other blockchain platform, but soon they losing passion on it because their earning is not as good or quick as they though.
It’s pity to seeing 9 out of 10 in my connection gave up on Hive that quickly and easily, I always emphasis that if they could make it till today, they should have certain USD on their hand. But most of them just want quick money, that’s why they though writing on hive is not a good way.

Not sure if you guys every heard about the Chinese Bamboo Tree story by Zig Ziglar, in the first year when you are trying to plant, it hardly grow as much as an inch, but you still have to watering, nurturing it every day.
At the moment people would probably laugh at you and say “what the hell you are doing, you hustle and hustle, work your face off everyday for a year, but it got nothing”
Maybe in the year 3 and 4, it still got nothing, well, it’s really become nothing when you give up at that time. But when you stick to it for one or two more year, started from the fifth year, the tree finally sprouts, and you will see it suddenly “boom” grow till 8 meters quickly.
And now, everyone don’t dare to laugh at you anymore, maybe even someone would come and say, hey man, I knew you could make it, blah blah blah.
Personally think that the Chinese Bamboo tree story is really a perfect to apply on our path on hive, maybe you will have nothing at the very first few months on hive, you will start seeing some result when you keep writing a good article, or you are patient enough to hold your hive on hand, waiting for it’s rally in the bullish market.
I am reviewing my performance on the crypto lately, can’t say I had a very outstanding performance as I missed chance to sell my tokens at high during bullish market back in 2021, but it’s not too bad anyway as I still made some money, cashing out and buying gift to my wife.
Most important thing is that, I have been developing on here hive less than 5 years, who knows what’s going on in the next 2 years? Maybe like the Chinese Bamboo Tree, Hive suddenly rocket to US$10 and I can make much more than I expected.
You won’t regret to spend 5 years developing on hive, just like you plant the Chinese Bamboo Tree.
