Delayed Gratification is easier said than done. We live in a world where PATIENCE has become an under appreciated quality. However, to exist on the crypto space and actually become successful at it, a huge ton of patience is required.
The cryptocurrency market is famous for its wild price fluctuations; one minute you’re making a fortune and the next one you’re down by several zeros. It is an unstable climate where in order to survive, you have to work with a certain kind of mindset and approach.

One recipe to a quick death in the crypto space is acting on impulse; it can either make or mar you. A long-term investment approach usually works better as opposed to trading on impulse and chasing quick profit. I have been in this shoe so I understand. I have attempted to cash out by involving myself in what is called Degen. It didn’t end well but I was chasing profit by engaging in a high-risk trading.

All that glitters is not gold. Just because something looks shiny and promising doesn’t mean it is actually worthy of profit. Delayed gratification in the crypto market involves resisting the urge to chase quick profits. It is better to focus on building a robust portfolio with sustainable growth potential. Risk is everything. But take risks with reasonable caution. It is best to align yourself with investment strategies with long-term sustainability plan.

Another important factor is to mind who you take advice and initiative from. Crypto influencers will ruin you if you are gullible and prone to instant gratification. Your chances of winning by investing that meme coin influencers are gushing about is as high as your chances of losing. Sadly, we learn best through experience in such matters.

Accepting the idea of Delayed Gratification has the advantage of impacting both our personal and professional life. Focusing on the bigger pictures instills the habit of discipline, by encouraging us to exert self-control and not act on impulse especially on financial and investment decisions. We learn to invest our time and energy into activities and opportunities that align with our long-term objectives and goals; instead of chasing instant hits or pleasure.
