Embracing the Power of Redirection

I received a message from the universe today saying to accept the detours and have faith in the redirections. Often times, life don’t go as planned; we envision the things we want, make plans to achieve them, but along the way life just happens. Every situation that happens to/for us is an opportunity for something, a means to a destination where we get to choose how we wish to navigate the path. It could be an opportunity for growth or one for regret and redundancy.

The only certain thing in life is uncertainty. You have to be open to anything; not necessarily prepared because how can you tell what’s coming, but you have to keep an open mind and heart. The obstacles we encounter along way could throw us off course, leaving us in a situation we are completely unprepared for. However, approaching them from a different perspective could transform an obstacle to a stepping stone to success.

A few questions I ask myself when confronted with a difficult change in plans are:

  • What is the lesson for me here? What is the universe trying to teach me through this?
  • What is on the other side of this mess?
  • How do I move forward from here?

I mean, it’s okay to feel sadness, regret, and whatever emotions you encounter as a result of this incident. You feel that, and you make room to feel the positive emotions that also comes with it. It may not be obvious at first but you’ll surely encounter it if you keep moving.

Setbacks are inevitable. Learning to rock with the ebbs and flows is fundamental.
When we stay open to detours, our mind allows us to process them as opportunities to take a few steps back to reassess and re-strategize our plans and goals. We also get to discover new things about ourselves. It’s like every experience opens up a different layer of ourselves that holds untapped energy and potential.

What this mindset does for us is it tackles the fear that comes with failure. We are often so terrified of failure that we don’t even embark on our desired journeys. But, by accepting that anything can happen along the way, and believing that no matter what it is you will come out better, it becomes easier for us to take risks. There are no failures, just lessons, experiences, and redirections

I don’t go about life expecting the worst, I expect and manifest the best things at all times, but I am always aware that every now and then, the worst will happen; all for the sake of balance.

In conclusion, experience teaches us resilience, flexibility, and adaptability. When we stay open to challenges and approach then in an enlightened manner, we become stronger and better at weathering future storms. Accepting the detours of life opens us up to different opportunities, solutions, networks, and innovations. To stay ahead of the curve, you ought to train the mind and body on how to deal with the unexpected.

Perfectly true. Setbacks are inevitable because we will continually be faced with it. Just that we must know how to bounce back when it is needed and make sure we make use of those setbacks to be strong and not to be weak
