MY UPDATED SKINCARE ROUTINE.

Hi guys, welcome back to my blog. It has been a minute since I clocked in here and that's because I've been busy taking on some different task or should I say acquiring a skill which I'm really loving and can't wait to start talking or writing about to you guys. Well, today I just wanted to show you guys the new addition I made to my skincare products.

For my face, I wanted to try Vitamin C, I have always been skeptical about using Vitamin C, and that is because I read somewhere that it is not the best brightening ingredient for coloured people. But, I have had friends who swear by Vitamin C and I remembered using some Vitamin C gel on my body some time ago and I liked it so now I'm trying out some on my face.

Here we have DR. RASHEL Vitamin C Brightening and Anti-aging face cream. It also contains Hyaluronic Acid which is a hydrant so that's a win. I have been using this product for about ten days and I think I like it. I can't tell if it is working yet because it's not like my skin is bad, I just want it to get better. I have read lots of positive reviews about the product, aside that, I actually do feel positive about it. It is a lightweight moisturizer and it leaves my face looking hydrated, moisturized and glowing. It is also nicely scented, so you may not like it if your skin reacts to scented products.

Next up is DISAAR BEAUTY SKINCARE Vitamin C Serum . The ingredients in this product is similar to that of the moisturizer as it also contains hyaluronic acid. The product is okay but I don't know how I fell about it yet though the bottle is nearly empty. The dropper is not very really effective as it functions poorly, I have to bend and pour directly from the bottle and one day I knocked that shit overs and the rest was history.
I am not sure I'll be returning to it though, maybe I would but I'll just mix it to my moisturizer.

For my body, I got me a moisturizer, a body scrub, a body wash and a new sponge. I know I said I change my sponge every two months but I couldn't resist this sponge when I saw it at the store, I knew I had to have it. My glove sponge is barely a month old but who says I can't have both. My aspiration in life is give myself everything I want so I wanted this sponge and I got it, what a genius move. LOL.

The moisturizer is basically the same as this one here, just a difference in vibes. The old one was oil infused while this one has pomegranate flower extract, sounds really fancy and it smells really good too. I love smelling great all the time, whether I'm fresh out of the shower or I have just put on some moisturizer and that's why I like scented products for my body.

Next on the list is CAREBEAU PAPAYA BODY SCRUB. This product also smells really good, and I can't help but love the smell of my bathroom whenever I'm done taking a shower. It leaves my skin feeling so soft and supple and I always look forward to using it. It was my mom who first bought this scrub for me last year and I have loved it since then. Another thing I love about it is that it lathers, it is emulsified so it is basically a scrub and a soap as you would hardly need to use soap to wash after scrubbing but I still do because I can. I scrub my body three to four times in a week, depending on my energy level and mood.

Last and seemingly the least on the list is LYNX body wash for sensitive skin. I didn't buy this product because I needed it, I just bought it because I like to have a backup soap in the bathroom and I use it on days I feel like having a different vibe or when I run out of my main. This back up is also what I offer to my guests to use when I have someone over; basically this body wash is just there that's why I said it is the least on the list.

That's about it for now. My skin goal is simply a healthy, moisturized bright and glowing skin. I'm not after a perfect skin because there is no such thing. It is just skin and I happen to enjoy taking care of it.

Thank you so much for stopping by, your support means everything to me. Hasta luego.

I've been wanting a Vit C serum. Your review on this doesn't look like I'd get it. Will you buy it again?

Yes, I think I might try using it one more time before trying a different one.
