Back to the San Felipe art district

Greetings, my dear friends. I hope you had a weekend of rest and well being.

As every Sunday, we went for a walk and today we went to Barrio San Felipe, known as the art district here in Bogota. I had already told you about my first visit to this neighborhood in the post I share with you. We returned to this charming place for two main reasons: firstly, I really like the atmosphere and I am captivated by the energy I feel in those colorful streets full of street art or urban art; and, secondly, we had pending this visit with my husband, since the first time my daughter and I visited, he could not accompany us.

As I mentioned before, in San Felipe we find ourselves surrounded by street art or urban art in every corner. Since my husband is passionate about capturing graffiti images, we were sure he would enjoy exploring this place that offers us abundant art everywhere to enrich his graffiti photography collection.

I jumped at the chance, seeing the variety of beautiful and colorful spaces to capture these scenes with my cell phone camera and also to tell my daughter to take some pictures to share with you.

Como todos los domingos, salimos a caminar y hoy llegamos hasta el Barrio San Felipe, conocido como el distrito de arte aquí en Bogotá. Ya les había comentado de mi primera visita a este barrio en el post que les comparto. Volvimos a este encantador lugar por dos razones principales: en primer lugar, me gusta mucho el ambiente que se respira y me cautiva la energía que siento en esas calles coloridas repletas de street art o arte urbano; y, en segundo lugar, teníamos pendiente esta visita con mi esposo, ya que la primera vez que mi hija y yo lo visitamos, él no pudo acompañarnos.

Como mencioné anteriormente, en San Felipe nos encontramos rodeados de street art o arte urbano en cada esquina. Como a mi esposo le apasiona capturar imágenes de grafitis, estábamos seguras de que él disfrutaría explorar este lugar que nos ofrece abundante arte por doquier para enriquecer su colección fotográfica de grafitis.

Yo no desaproveché la oportunidad, al ver la variedad de espacios hermosos y llenos de color para capturar estos escenarios con la cámara de mi celular y, también, para decirle a mi hija que me tomara algunas fotografías para compartir con ustedes.
