XCOM 2 - Let's play no.7

avatar

Join me on a new mission. I'd rather not I should wait for soldiers to be healthy and get more supplies. But we are called to action. Wish me luck. πŸ˜ƒ

Going with Veteran and IRONMAN, no savegame this will be fun. Hopefully I will get to the end haha.πŸ˜ƒ

Mission 7

Rescue VIP

Mission difficulty is Easy, but since I only have rookies now that everyone else is injured it might be challenging.

Hate those aliens that can choke you. Takes 3 HP off you and with rookies that is damaged they die like flies. That encounter killed 3 out of 4, I have no choice but to leave and save at least 1.. πŸ™ˆ

I have to postpone all missions until the last minute now, have to catch up on the health of the team. Get new recruits and get supplies asap or im in deep sh**

And, see you in next.😏

Mission Type KIA Score
1 Destroy the Advent monument with explosives 0 Flawless
2 Protect the device 1 Good
3 Extract VIP 0 Flawless
4 Stop the Advent retaliation 2 Fair
5 Hack the hidden resistance computer 0 Excellent
6 Operation blood god 4 Poor
7 Rescue VIP 3 Poor

I played the first version (UFO: Enemy Unknown) (X-COM: UFO Defense) (1994) a lot on MS-DOS, when I was a child. This is the first time I see its second episode. I did not even know that it has a second episode so far. Probably soon I will give it a try. Good luck and have fun. All the best.

Actually I was born in 1992 (probably I am somewhat younger than you), but I started playing video games at an early age. Somewhere around 1998. I used a 133 MHz Pentium 1 PC in that time. MS-DOS 6.22, Windows 3.11, Norton Commander, and a lot of games. I remember that I learned to use the keyboard and type on that PC. At first I looked where the letters are, and a few years later I typed (and I still type) blindly on the keyboard.

I know Descent I-II, Doom I-III, Wolfenstein 3D, Prince of Persia 1-2, Dynablaster, Jetpack, Gods, Lemmings, Raptor: Call of the Shadows, Theme Park, Heroes of Might and Magic II, and many other MS-DOS games. There are so many good MS-DOS games. Heroes 2 is one of my favorites. I know that most people's favorite is the third episode.

I love tactical games, they are so entertaining and XCOM is one of those, would have been nice to see you playing in a video.

More X-Com goodness. You need to take better care of your soldiers, or the harder missions down the line will be very tough indeed. Humanity is counting on you ;)

All part of the game. The key is just to have fun and enjoy the ride. Oh and save humanity also ;)
