Mission 5

Hack the hidden resistance computer

Mission difficulty is Easy, but I will only go with one rookie as there will be X turns to complete. Lets play it safe and bring a specialist for healing incase.

8 turns on us. Lets move so far as we can without getting spotted and make an ambush on first encounter. 😃

First enemies spotted, getting in position for an ambush. Setting 2 soldiers on overwatch to fire when they move, and hit them with the grenader to start it off. And keep the ranger waiting, to go in after. Let's hit em! 😃

Nice, things went as planned and very smooth. 😃 Now it is the enemy Aliens turn, let's see if our positions are well placed for an retaliation.

My turn, gonna finish him off with the ranger and a swordkill. Set the guy behind the car on overwatch for enemies turn and move into the building, need to hack the computer so its done.

Aliens turn. Mind control dude, ok let's ignore and avoid the friendly who got mind controlled when its our turn. Hack the computer and kill the mind controller. 😃

Two enemies left, let's end it.

Nice mission, I liked this on, probably because I killed the minecontrol enemy before it came out of hand as last time hehe. 😃

At least we got 1 more rookie promoted. One got gravely wounded, so it will probably take a month before rested. I need more soldiers to promote so I can expand in many roles. I like the Rangers and Specialist, love healing.

Base status after mission and I can add another mission to the track records on my lets play NO SAVEGAME REUNION lol.
