Each season of the year, gives way to the next, like the moments of life, like after the storm the sun comes out.

Winter, days of less light, gloomy, rain, frost, snow, perhaps an old man in the cold streets of the city.

Summer, days of intense sunshine, with more hours of light, warmth, warmth, flowers, youth, perhaps a beautiful woman spreading joy as she passes by.

Alegorías.... is the name of these sculptures in the gardens of the Roman Theatre in Malaga, made in marble by the artist Adrián Risueño in 1951.

A unique decoration, to which no one can remain indifferent, representing in some way Winter and Summer.

Like the allegories that exist in life, in each of the moments of life, winter, after spring, is followed by summer.

There are times in life when we feel like winter, sad, saddened, moments when it seems that every day is grey, when the rain of bad news falls, when the cold of loneliness takes hold of us, or when the shadow covers the days and takes away the joy.

But as every cycle in life comes to an end, and gives way to other moments, like the joys of winter and summer.

The sun will always be there despite the clouds, and one day those clouds will move away and then joy returns.

Summer feelings, happiness, colours, flowers, positive vibes, often depend on ourselves. It is difficult to change the pole from negative to positive, but it is possible.

The allegory of summer, the joviality, the freshness, the integrity, the smile that changes the mood. A word said by someone at the right moment can turn winter into summer, or perhaps an idea or inspiration.

Let us remember that the sun is behind the clouds, waiting for us to learn from the difficult moments so that the old winter will give way to the young summer.

Our destiny is the one we forge, there will always be winters to go through but the reward is the learning that leads to many summers.
