The Colomares Castle is a monument castle, located in Benalmádena, built in honour of the discovery of America by Christopher Columbus. It is the largest monument dedicated to him.

Columbus' plan and his dream was to reach the Indies and he presented this plan to the Catholic Monarchs, who accepted.
