I love celebrating my birthday and more (WEEK 165)

"You don't get older, you get better."

I know many people who don't like to celebrate their birthday, but I love it. Not only mine but everyone else's too.

It has always been like that, all my life. For me to celebrate my birthday is to celebrate life.

I have studied many things in the last ten years, subjects related to self-knowledge, healing, explanation of important life issues, belief systems and programming that each person brings at birth.

It is inevitable for me not to relate many of the topics that @galenkp brings us every weekend with all those learnings.

The fact of wanting or not to celebrate a birthday says a lot about a person and is related to the beliefs and programming of the parents, which in turn are passed on to the children.

All this is an unconscious process.

Many people have a programme, given to them by their own parents, not to have children. For example, if in a family there was the death of a child or there were many siblings, I mean for example 10 siblings, it usually happens that these children grow up with an unconscious programme of not having children.

If they do have them, these children, always unconsciously, are unwanted children and that is why they do not want to celebrate their birthday.

Another case is when the mother was not ready to have children or had them because she had to have them as an obligation. There are many examples.

I am an unwanted child, but I still love to celebrate my birthday.

Because I carry other programmes of love for life and I celebrate every birthday with great joy.

My father didn't want children, they only served to keep my mother busy.

But I was born and I have a mission. Until I fulfil it, I will not leave.

My birthdays are already a tradition. As my favourite food, a cake is made, which is a family recipe, a simple gathering is held, depending on the day of the celebration.

When I lived in Argentina, family and friends would come. There was the classic chocolate to drink (it was winter), sweet things, cake. Talks, hustle and bustle, until very late.

Here, in Spain, I still eat my favourite dish, ravioli, but gatherings may or may not take place. I don't want to miss the cake.

If there are no get-togethers, I like to celebrate in nature, going for walks.

The pictures I show you are from the last few years.

Walks on the promenade, in a very important park of the city, another green space near the promenade.

Then I show you the breakfast my family was waiting for me with on my last birthday this year.

I enjoy it very much whether it is only with my immediate family or with other people.

Only one birthday was a lonely one, and that was in 2003. A few months before, my grandmother, who was like a second mother to me, had passed away. As "chance" would have it, that year my birthday was on a weekday and I was alone at home. I think that my companion, from the other side, was my grandmother, but that day I cried a lot.

I also love to celebrate other people's birthdays, if they are not around I always like to remember and send them a card, a message.

For me the most important thing is not how I celebrate, but that people remember, even if it's just a text message. That's enough for me.

The calendar on my phone is full of birthdays.

My graphology teacher once told me, if you have so many birthdays written down like that, it's because you care about people remembering yours. And it's true.

On the day of the birthday, one remembers the day the soul chose to be born, to go out into the world to learn and evolve, to fulfil the mission. On that day the year begins (that's how I see it), not on the 1st of January.

That is why it is of vital importance in my life. A new year, new opportunities, goals and projects or the completion of those that have fallen by the wayside.

A new year to keep learning.

Thank you all for reading this far. If you like, tell me: Do you celebrate your birthday? Do you like to do it? How do you do it?

Best regards to all of you and see you next time.
Amonet.

All photographs are my own.

I agree with you on many things regarding the reason for celebrating or not celebrating one's birthday.

However, I really like your way of how you celebrate it and also how you are aware of other people's birthdays, definitely your teacher is very right with what she told you.

I like this phrase:

It has always been like that, all my life. For me to celebrate my birthday is to celebrate life.

We chose to come here for a reason, so despite the difficulties, with much or little, we have to celebrate.

Thank you very much for your beautiful comment @lanzjoseg

I want some of that cake.

I'm not very keen on birthday, but it's a thing of the family traditions to celebrate. Haven't been to many where people actually to celebrate big time. However, I do enjoy the idea of having some time to remember those who are special.

But I sent you cake on my birthday hahaha I don't think I have any more... when there's any left over I put it in the freezer, but it's all gone hahahaha

I imagined it, about your birthday, but it's good to celebrate it even if it's simple, it's life. By the way I don't know the day of your birthday hahaha

And you will know when it comes. Ha, ha, ha. I know. It was a great cake.

Saving cake in the freezer sound like one of those wedding rituals. 🤣

It's just that it's so big! I only eat a little piece of it hahaha, then it stays as a dessert for another day... if it's already like a ritual hahaha

Oh, well. Eating the whole cake the same day makes no sense. What else would I eat while I drink my coffee the next day?

In my case, I enjoy celebrating other people's birthdays more than my own hahaha..... It's not that I don't feel happy and grateful, it's just that for some reason I don't find the same desire to celebrate it xD That's right, on that day they have to take me out to eat or prepare me something delicious, I don't ask for more hehe...
