Monitoring Is One Sure way Of Sustaining the Hive Borehole Project In Ghana. The Team Visited the Agona-Bedomase Borehole Project constructed some Months Ago.

Monitoring is an essential part of every development. It helps ensure sustainability and proper management practices. Thanks to the Hive blockchain, through its community empowerment project, most communities in Ghana benefited from these projects, and, of course, my able supervisors @mcsamm and @collinz gave every account of these projects to the Hive ecosystem. It is critical that we return to the borehole site every few months to see how the borehole is progressing and to speak with community members about how the borehole has benefited them. I have been with them from the construction of the first borehole to the last of it.

of all the communities where these boreholes were constructed, they all requested additional boreholes to be constructed in their community. Surely, this would happen unless the team made sure the community was capable of managing any Hive project. Therefore, the monitoring was uninformed just to surprise them, in our absence how they were taking care of the borehole, and just as it has been reported by both my supervisors, @mcsamm and @collinz, we were much pleased with what we witnessed.

Maintenance is one of the most difficult challenges in most parts of the world, including my own. We don't have a team to monitor and supervise a project after it is completed. And you realized, these projects don't last long after serving for just a few months or years, the fact that it was given to them freely suggests that they shouldn't take care of it. What we are doing will ensure proper maintenance and its longevity.

It is not just going to end here, but we will make sure the project will continue to serve its intended purpose now and for the future generation to also know more about the Hive ecosystem.
Upon engaging with some of the communities members about how the project have helped solved their water challenges, they quickly poured down their satisfaction to the team. "Now through Hive, we get free water without paying anything said the some of the community members". And also promised to take care of the Borehole for its sustainability.

In conclusion, all the other projects will be visited and I hope just as a comprehensive report have been submitted by both @mcsamm and @collinz and myself, we will do same. Hopefully, many other communities will continue to benefit from this project.

Thanks to the Hive team (@depressedfuckup @rubilu,@jimah1k,@yahuzah,@nattybongo and most thanks to @valueplan for making all these happen
