Blissful Retreat: My favorite Hangout Spot

avatar

Almost Everyone has that one special place where he/she feels most at peace and I do too. At that spot, time slows down and worries fade away. A place like this for me is my room or any quiet place in nature. My room's welcoming ambience and serene atmosphere make it a haven where I find solace in the hustle and bustle of life.

My room is one of two of my favourite spots to hang out. It is very enclosed and quiet. Anytime I feel stressed, that is where I go to relax and feel at peace. It is a getaway from all the people and noise outside. A lot of people find it surprising when they hear me say I hate too much noise because I'm not really the quiet type, but I do.

I don't like crowds and the only place I get to unwind after being around crowds and so much noise is my room.
My room helps me focus, reminisce and set my priorities right. Once I'm in my room, because of its quiet nature, I'm able to organize my thoughts and get myself together.

While a lot of people claim they can't study in their rooms because they'll end up on their beds snoring, I'm able to concentrate on whatever I'm studying and cover if not more than, almost the same topics as I would in a library. When I'm in my room, I perform activities like reading, writing, journaling, dancing and mini karaoke sessions, aside from studying.

If not in my room, then I'm in nature. Spending time in nature helps me reflect on my life; all the blessings I've got and how to make vast progress in my life. During this time alone time, I am reminded to be grateful for some of the best blessings we always overlook, life, health, vegetation, water, air and a beautiful environment.

I sometimes get inspiration for something to write or a new project I'd like to take.
We're in an extremely fast-paced world coupled with a lot of distractions. Finding your safe space and peace is one of the best things to have, and I'm very grateful I've figured out mine.
